We tried the lasagne and the smokey burger - both of them flavourful and quite filling. They also offer breakfast and have a heated (winterized) backyard garden that seemed cozy. We were very satisfied with the atmosphere, service and food as well😄

Read moreWe had the scrambled tofu with sausage for breakfast, and it tasted really good. The service was friendly and the food didn’t take long to arrived.
There is really lovely and refreshing too.

We had the olives and bread to share as a starter followed by the "chicken" burger (both of us), and the mushroom croquettes to share. The mayo was excellent and the fillet was brilliant. Huge portion size and really tasty. Lovely beet and cocktails too.

Just FYI for you if you visit again - Palo Verde hardly ever has Czech dishes. This looks like their Christmas special or it could have been a daily lunch special. Their permanent menu is generally burgers and pasta. The food is always good, but it's not always Czech!

Definitely worth a visit - Edit
If plants and pretty deco are your thing you should definitely try it. Sweet place with a lovely ambiance. You need to get there I. Time (before 1 on weekdays and 1pm on weekends) if you want the delicious breakfast and brunch options the food menu isn’t extensive but drinks are and quite a selection of cakes too. The food was a bit salty so if that’s an issue you’ll need to tell the kitchen. Service could be a bit better but nothing too drastic.

Just what we needed after lots of walking, kept us full the rest of the day too! Place was cute, food was good but it was messy the smokey burger I went for. My non-vegan boyfriend said the ‘chicken’ one was “this is quite good actually”!

Found this place on Happy Cow. Most people at the restaurant had reserved a table- I was fortunate to squeeze in. The menu is a good mix of comfort food- burgers, lasagna, bowls, etc. I ordered olives for a starter and bulgogi bowl as my main. Both were exceptional. I’m not a big fan of chunks of plant based meat- tough to get right- but they nailed it. I will give them a pass on the draught beer, which was less than exceptional (particularly by Prague standards). Go with bottled beer, or maybe a cocktail- the latter being what most folks in the restaurant seemed to be ordering.

Read moreWe got the sharing platter to start which was really good, I recommend getting it but maybe only if there’s more than 2 people sharing as we were so full afterwards!! We shared the chicken burger and red pesto lasagne for mains.
A good option if you’re looking for something a bit more fancy for an evening meal!

Read moreOriginally we planned on eating out every night, but the food at Palo Verde was waaaaay too delicious. We almost tried everything on the menu, from breakfast to dinner to cake, and it was truly amazing!
The staff was extraordinary, welcoming and kind. When we had to leave quite early in the morning, they had the best breakfast ready for us, at the time the restaurant opened.
Wow .. just wow! We will travel to Prague again, only to visit Palo Verde. #Veganuary

Wir waren zum Frühstück im Palo Verde. Gut, dass wir vorher reserviert hatten. Spontan sieht es in dieser Lokalität eher schlecht aus. Viele Besucher wurden abgewiesen, weil alles voll war.

Die Karte ist übersichtlich aber traf meinen Geschmack.
Ich hatte das Kimchi Omelett und Blaubeer-Waffeln. Beides war wirklich fantastisch und auch sättigend.
Für tschechische Verhältnisse auf jeden Fall hochpreisiger.
Wir würden wieder einkehren.
