Great range of vegan products - Edit
I was blown away by the amount of vegan stuff I found at this store.
Read moreAs a Brit travelling to the US, I expected to struggle a bit in finding vegan food from any grocery store (after previous experience). And I thought chances would be even lower in a small town grocery store, surrounded by dairy farms.
But Palace Market had a surprisingly large range of vegan products - including; milks, meat replacements, cheeses, dips, cookies and even ice cream. On top of all this, a phenomenal fruit and veg section with tons of local produce, including a great range of mushrooms.
Only thing missing was some more plant based cheeses (but that would always be a hard sell in town built by dairy farmers)
This place rivaled some of the best supermarkets in the UK for vegan range, but is filled with local produce and other planet loving goods - well worth a look for any vegans in the area
Pros: Plant-based milks, Local mushrooms, Vegan Ice cream
Cons: Sandwich deli only has a few vegan options
