Food was nice

I was at Zomba City Festival. The lodge was very cozy, staff was sweet and the food was good. They offered a few different vegan options which was nice.

Pros: Few vegan options , They had soy burger and sausage which was yummy!, Fries was really good

Best fries in Malawi

The bean wrap is 100% vegan and can even be made gluten free (just ask, they can make the wrap with chickpea flower). The wrap and bean filling was very tasty. But the chips were absolutely amazing! Not the sloppy and greasy kind you get in most places, but crispy and and dry. Must be the influence of the Dutch owners 😀 Price wise the food is very reasonable and you get really big portions.
Ps. The humus we had for lunch is pretty good too!

Great food and atmosphere.

my favourite place to stay in Zomba! Very friendly and relaxed, with a lot of stuff going on. Lots of veggie/vegan food options, good quality and well priced.
