Yummy all Vegan Restaurant - Edit

I absolutely love this place. Everything I’ve had is delicious and the best thing of course is everything is vegan so you never have to worry. Buffalo cauliflower appetizer is a must and I love the vegan fried chickun sandwich! The only reason I would give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because of it’s sometimes unreliable hours. Before you go here always check their Facebook which I find is where they go to update what time they open, if they’re open and if they have sold out of food and had to close early. Love to see this place thrive though and is always a must when I’m in Cocoa!

Best vegan food in Brevard - Edit

My boyfriend and I have been vegan for 5 months, and it’s very difficult to find good vegan options in this area. We had the cesar salad, nachos, chicken parmigiana sub and the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich. Everything was better than expected. Definitely check this place out! The staff was quick with the food and super down to earth too!

Pros: food, location , staff

Cons: NONE

Best place for vegan comfort food - Edit

While traveling on the east coast of FL we happened upon this gem. The food was fantastic and everyone was super nice.

Everyone in our party tried something different and it was all delicious. I had the chickn parm sub with fries and my husband had the entree chickn parm over pasta. The seitan was cooked perfectly and the sauce was well balanced. Our daughters had chickn alfredo and ceasar salad. We also had the nachos appetizer. We were all just nodding our heads and saying “mmmmm” a lot.

If you are near the area you should check this place out.

Pros: many options , pleasant staff, vegan

Cons: none

Eat here - go now! - Edit

If you live anywhere near Cocoa, Florida, and haven't been to Paisley, you are REALLY missing out on a fantastic meal. We ate here Sunday (7/9/17) afternoon and were very impressed.

The place is basic, clean, welcoming, and has a cool vibe to it. The young lady who served us was so super-nice and efficient. She asked if we had any questions, and was just so friendly - great server.

I ordered the fried "chicken" sandwich. OMG, it was so delicious. It had the most delicious vegan mayo on it. I am ashamed to say, I am a mayo-girl and haven't found a good vegan one yet. I asked her what it was because it was so good ("Just Mayo"). The seitan "chicken" was perfectly cooked and delicious - a real stick-to-your-ribs meal; the fresh bun it was on was also amazing. It came with a big vat of fries that I have to say were the best I have ever eaten; hot, fresh and not at all greasy. All this for right around $9 - that was impressive. I have found that vegan places are just way too expensive (can't figure out why?), so it was a nice change of pace to have a big, delicious meal that was so reasonably priced.

My friend had the jackfruit BBQ sliders. It was delicious too, but I am not a fan of BBQ. She loved it and was equally impressed with the French fries. We came away very full!

This place is in the downtown historic area; it's in a really nice historic building with plenty of free parking on the left side of it. I would highly recommend that you eat here - you will NOT be disappointed, I promise.

Pros: Great service, Amazing food, BEST: Reasonable prices

Small Portions But Tasty - Edit

cozy shop with great service! had a parmesan sub (11$) & bbq puller jackfruit sliders (13$) with mac & cheese as a side (3$). let me start off with saying this is the best vegan mac & cheese ive ever tried & i recommend it to everyone! the parmesan sub tasted like a delicious pizza, so good. and the jackfruit sliders were spicy and flavorful! the only 'bad' thing is that we felt it was pricy for the portion we received. we definitely left craving more.

Pros: great service, delicious food!

Cons: small portions

Our family of five dined here for lunch today and I couldn't be happier with the food and atmosphere. I am the only vegan in our family but everyone (including my 3 and 5 year old) gobbled it up! The chicken parmesan was to die for- highly recommend it.

Pros: Big serving sizes, friendly staff

Cons: Not many tables

Great Vegan restaurant - Edit

My husband and I went for a late lunch and basically licked our plates clean! I had the BBQ Jack fruit- 2 sliders topped high with yummy sweet and savory jackfruit and avocado slaw with a side of the best macaroni salad ever. My hubby had a chicken parm sub with french fries. Everything was delicious. Downtown Cocoa, FL is really sweet too.

Pros: yummy, great variety

Cons: took a while to get our food

Decent food if you can actually get in to eat. - Edit

I was excited to hear a vegan restaurant had opened up near me. The first time my daughter and I tried dining here, the sign on the door and their website said they opened at 11:00. My daughter and I, and another gentlemen that walked up, waited outside until after 11:30 and they still hadn't opened. There were employees inside that seen us standing outside the door, but not one person came to the door to explain why they hadn't opened, or tell us when they would be open. We all eventually ended up leaving and dining elsewhere. The second time we tried visiting, the restaurant had no seating. It's a small place and every table was taken. Not one person had food, so we knew the wait would be really long, so we left. The third time we tried, we finally were seated, ordered food and got to actually enjoy it. The food we had was good, but the portion sizes were extremely small for the price. I don't need large portion sizes, but ended up sharing my fries and half my chickun parm sandwich with my husband and daughter because I felt bad that they were still hungry. My chickun parm sandwich was good, but deep fried, which I'm not crazy about. My husband ordered the jackfruit sliders. There were 2 of them on a very tiny dinner roll type of bun. He opted for the avacado slaw as his side, which was is a tiny glass jar. Maybe 2 - 3 bites...not enough to suffice as a side. His meal was pricey for what little he got. The food tasted good, but we haven't returned. I doubt we will. The price vs. quality of food and portion sizes just isn't worth it to us. Check out one of the local Mexican restaurants. You'll get more bang for your buck and won't leave feeling hungry and disappointed. Note: there were 4 in our party. Two adults, 2 kids. We spend close to $60.00 (without drinks, appetizers or dessert)

Pros: It's vegan

Cons: Sometimes not open on time, Hefty price for little portion size, Very limited seating

My friends and I have been looking forward to this place for quite some time- we arrived at 7:20 p.m. and the internet, website, door to the restaurant- everything says closed at 8 but they told us the kitchen was closed and turned us away sadly.

Cons: closed early

Yummmm - Edit

Just happened upon this little cafe while in Cocoa Village for a meeting. I went right in for lunch and ordered the chickpea salad sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese thanks to the recommendations of the waitress and the couple at the table next to me! The service was GREAT and my food was ready so fast! The chickpea salad was DELICIOUS and a perfect balance of flavor and texture! I think the only thing I would change is add pickles and onions for a bit more pizzazz. The side of mac and cheese was a bit on the small side, but tasted GREAT. Breadcrumbs on the top made it PERFECT ? All in all a great experience, just wish I had ordered dessert!!

Pros: GREAT food, Kind service

Cons: A bit pricey, Small portions

Nice Place & Great Food - Edit

I love this place!!! The food is great - I've had the Chickn Parm Sub, Mac-n-Cheese, Jackfruit Sub, Chicken Alfredo, Avocado slaw...it has all been tasty. The downside is the limited seating and since food is fresh they run can out of items. Highly recommend trying this place.

Pros: EVERYTHING IS VEGAN!, Food is fresh and homemade

Cons: Limited seating

Very disappointing - Edit

I would have given one star but the lowest allowed is two. I ordered the 'chicken' Alfredo but sent it back. The pasta was hard and stuck together, the sauce completely tasteless, and the seitan was like cardboard. Ended up sharing my daughter's veggie combatants sandwich, which was also tasteless - you couldn't even tell there was hummus on it because there was no flavor - and ordering more fries. The fries were really good! I has originally ordered the Mac and cheese but they were out of that and also out of hot tea and La Croix water. The waitress was lovely and her service was good but we will not be going back - that food is what puts people off veganism!

Pros: Pleasant service, awesome French fries

Cons: Other than the fries, the food is terrible abs tas

Wonderful - Edit

I was very satisfied with my experiences at Paisley Vegan. During my visits, I enjoyed the alfredo pasta, parmesan sandwich, avocado slaw, BBQ jack fruit and macaroni & cheese. I am not a fan of seitan but for the parmesan sandwich and alfredo pasta, it was delicious. The alfredo sauce was the best vegan alfredo I have encountered. The desserts were equally delicious - peanut butter chocolate cheesecake and cinnamon roll cheesecake.

flavorful, oversized portions served with a smile - Edit

had the buffalo cauliflower bites which were perfectly done. followed up with chicken parm (me) and chicken & waffles (her) - two giant slices of house seitan breaded and fried perfectly. sauces etc. well made to accompany. also had the avocado slaw side - an interesting and tasty take on what can be a staid dish. prices are not exorbitant, but may bother some not used to "big city" vegan costs...

Pros: portions, ambiance

Cons: cost (for some)

Best Homemade Local Vegan Food - Edit

This is by far my favorite vegan place. I go at least once a week to get my fix of mac&cheese and BBQ jackfruit. I have never experienced a bad time here. The atmosphere is killer, and good vibes are flowing through the place.

Pros: Excellent Food, Good Vibes

Cons: Small portions

Expensive, but good - Edit

Visited while on vacation. I am not sure how I feel about our experience. Ordered the cauliflower bites. They were quite tasty, but four bites was $8. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sub on a "fresh sub roll" which was actually a hot dog bun. For ten dollars I was expecting more than a hot dog bun sandwich. I ordered the Caesar with the chicken added. The chicken is actually seitan which they make there. It was deep fried and delicious. My salad came with a thin, unbuttered heel of a baguette. Not sure what was up with that.

No one else was in the restaurant, but when a person called to order, they told the person it would be 25 minutes. There were at least four employees there too.
I also noticed that someone came in with groceries while we were there. A company buying clamshells of lettuce and tubs of Earth Balance from Publix isn't going to be able to turn a profit unless they charge high prices like this.

Next day I ordered some sides for the airplane ride home. Got the Avocado Slaw ($2.49), Mac Salad ($2.99) and Mac and Cheese ($4.99). They came in the smallest 1/2 cup portions for that amount of money.

Overall, I am glad there is a vegan option in the area, I am just sad that I felt I was charged more money for less product. I am curious to see if they will be in business next time I visit.

Pros: All vegan , Fries were good

Cons: Styrofoam to-go, Small portions
