HEAVEN AND CHOPSTICKS - Edit
OMG!!! This Cafe really has made a name for itself in our small village here in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. Every dish served can be made Vegan. The flavors are explosive. I am sooooo addicted to this Cafe, that I’m dreaming about it in my sleep. I am selling things precious to me just to get enough money to eat there again.. today I asked my neighbor if he would buy me lunch there. He did and I chose the Tofu Chow Mein he chose the Chicken with garlic sauce and rice. We split a basket of dumplings. My 12 string guitar is for sale on kenai Craigslist. PLEASE HELP ME OUT! The fresh Spring Rolls with Plum and Peanut sauce are to die for. GO THERE !!! You’ll be amazed and never regret it. Oh don’t forget the large portions. So bring an appetite.

Nice place! Good vegan choices! - Edit
It was so easy to order a delicious vegan meal here. I don’t know if the staff knew the word “vegan”, but once I explained no dairy, egg, meat, or fish, including fish sauce, the server said to just pick what I wanted from the veggie menu and she would tell me how it could be vegan. She seemed to get the concept really easily, and knew which items did not have fish sauce. I chose pad Thai, with tofu, no egg (it already doesn’t have fish sauce), and added vegetables. I also ordered Thai iced tea with coconut milk instead of dairy. This all might sound like a lot to go through to order, but it took less than 2 minutes, it was no problem to customize, and I was confident that the meal was vegan. Plus, the pad Thai was delicious, beautiful, and huge.
