Great vegan options - Edit

Lots of choice for vegans. Had the raw zucchini pasta which was delicious. Also had a dessert for the first time in ages, banoffee cheesecake, which was incredible. Definitely worth checking out.

Pros: Loads of options, Great taste

lots of vegan options, fast and fresh - Edit

Beautiful space and some delicious food. I had the vegan rice paper rolls (with tempeh and cashew based dipping sauce) and nutty dragonfruit smoothie first time. The smoothie was really something, no complaints. The second visit I had a coconut water (overpriced) and a tempeh rice bowl which was pretty sensational I thought ( although not vegan as it had tatziki) the are lots of pure vegan options, and all vegetarian options can be modified to be vegan easily enough. Definitely the most extensive vegan range on the island I've found so far. Why they have meat dishes seems a mystery when they do veg so well!

Pros: vegan options galore, creative dishes, tasty!

Cons: it's pricey for Indonesia, but that's how it is! c

great vegan food! - Edit

Went here twice for dinner since I loved the food. I tried the namaste dish one dinner, which was amazing. The other day I tried a salad and it was pretty good, but nothing special.

Best food on Gili Air - Edit

It's a little hard to find the first time, but it was definitely worth it for me, as I really enjoyed the food. It is probably the healthiest and most vegan friendly food you can find on the island. It is pretty odd, that there is burgers amidst all the veg food. I can't actually remember the name of the dishes I had, but one was an eggplant burrito and the other one was a sort of roasted veggie salad I think. They were both delicious and so was the chocolate dessert.
They were out of the masala chai, which I wanted to try. The smoothies sounded really good, but I don't recommend the mint chocolate one that I ordered. It was a bit lumpy and bland. I would try the dragonfruit next time.
I really like the ambience here too, breezy, lots of plants, and I like the cozy little nook near the back of the dining area.

Great fresh food - Edit

I would actually call this place mostly vegetarian/vegan with a couple of meat options that sticked out like a sore thumb. They have a number of rice bowls with different add-ons, but from their main courses I really need to recommend the tortilla with aubergine. It was really great. They also do amazing smoothies and raw desserts. Try the peanut butter truffle, it's wonderful! I was so full, but still ordered another one.

New place, has potential - Edit

We found this place on the island and were very excited. It's modeled after health food places in Ubud. I'm not sure if the owners have owned a restaurant before because it seemed a bit chaotic. They were out of a few items. The food is very good, the staff is extremely friendly, but they have room for improvement. The portions are quite small (especially for the prices). They have homemade cashew milk but they don't strain it so it's lumpy. The first time we went, the male owner was there. We told him we were vegans so we were excited to eat there and his response was, "oh yah, my wife makes all the vegan stuff. I got a hamburger on the menu." And started laughing.. It was pretty insensitive. Everything else is vegan or vegetarian on the menu. I hope they do away with the burger and make it a pure vegetarian restaurant.

Pros: Organic, Delicious food, Vegan desserts/mylk

Cons: Serves meat, Small portions, New so has some kinks
