Mediocre Raw Vegan Food - Edit
I was so happy to find a raw vegan lasagne on the menu which is usually my favourite dish. It looked beautiful on the plate, but the taste was just average. The tomato slices didn't have any tomato flavour and there were hard eggplant slices in between. The cashew cream lacked of lemon and herbs and for all of that I had to pay 10 € which is a lot for a small dish like that in Lisbon. As desert I had a hazelnut chocolate mousse which had a nice hazelnut flavour (not raw though), but it was also very dense and oily. So I didn't really enjoy any of their food. The location looks very arty and nice, though.

Cons: Taste of the food is just mediocre, It's frezzing inside because of the cold aircon, a bit pricey for Lissabon

Vegan brunch - Edit
Lovely place with great vibes! We had the vegan brunch and i liked it a lot! Basic raw veggie salad, avocado toast, chia pudding with red fruits, banana cake and the juice of the day was pear and beet! Delicious :)

Not impressed! - Edit
This is a stylish organic restaurant in a rather run-down part of the city. Due to the positive feedbacks here on “HappyCow” we made a small detour to visit this place.
Read moreSadly, it didn’t live up to our expectations. The dishes weren’t really bad, but a bit bland, lacking salt and spices. The fruit juice tasted like out of a packet instead of being freshly pressed. For what we got, prices were much too expensive. Expect to pay about 13 € for a main dish, the small fruit juice was 3,50€.
When we arrived, the waiter immediately brought some bread and a dip, not stating what it was. In all other places we were asked whether we wanted bread/appetizers, and were told what was on offer –this wasn’t the case here, so we thought it was complimentary. As I didn’t intend to eat the dip, I didn’t ask whether it was vegan, but we both tried tiny pieces of the bread provided (it was sourdough bread, but we didn’t like it). Later we discovered an additional 2,50 € on the bill for that…
At Pachamama they offer dishes suitable for different diets, and they are clearly labelled, e.g. vegan, gluten-free, “paleo”. They even have one raw-vegan dish, but also offer fish.
Cons: expensive, bland food, pretentious

Lovely organic vegetarian food - Edit
Pachamama is a nicely decorated restaurant with delicious organic food and friendly staff. During the week, you can order the lunch menu, which includes their homemade bread, fresh juice or tea, a main course and either a dessert or soup for 10 EUR. This is great value for money considering that everything is organic! The food is always great, even though it does tend to be a bit better on the weekends, when the restaurants is calmer. Expect to pay between 15 and 20 EUR on the weekends. Their raw options always amaze me (e.g. meatless-balls with zoodles). Also, their homemade sourdough bread is really delicious and you can buy some and take it home with you. Overall, it's one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in Lisbon.

Delicious food - Edit
I had dinner at Pachamama with three non-vegetarian friends and we were all very impressed. The menu was a good size with variety and the vegetarian and vegan options (the majority of the menu) were clearly marked. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. It was reasonably priced and came to under 20 euros each, including the bottle of wine we shared.

Pros: Lovely food, Good variety, Reasonably priced

blown away! - Edit
We went to this place at around 9 - Happy Cow said it would be open but the staff told us to come back at 11.
Read moreBut then I had the best time! Not being a native speaker, I wasn't sure of things on the menu, but one of the staff sat down with us and went through all the menu items, giving recommendations and explaining what was in each dish. He was very patient and kind.
I've never felt so valued and welcomed in any restaurant before - and the food is delicious!
