Amazing views but vegan options nothing special

The menu here seemed similar to many of the restaurants in the village, nothing particularly special about the vegan options - no labelling, need to explain to staff (can be a little tricky depending on your Spanish competence). Incredible sunset views over the lake though!

We were told the eggplant milanese could not be prepared vegan as it contained egg. He said they could make the “quinoa valencia” dish without cheese, but my partner just went for fries instead - which were undercooked and oily. I had the quinoa soup which was tasty.

We noticed at least two other restaurants nearby that advertised vegan options on their signs, would’ve like to give those a try but they were closed due to off season.

Pros: stunning lake views, was actually open

Cons: minimal vegan options, pretty typical menu, slow service

Thankful for vegan options

Beautiful spot to watch sunset from. The quinoa soup was fantastic. I was able to order the eggplant Milanese vegan, which was okay but it desperately needed a sauce. Happy to get some vegetables on the plate.

Surprisingly good!

Had the aubergine (veggie not vegan, see pictures). However the waiter was quite aware of the difference. Might be he could prepare something for you.

Spaghetti comes with cheese

The spaghetti neapolitana comes with cheese, from the pictures I thought there was none

Quinoa soup was good, well seasoned, kind of lukewarm

Food was filling

Papas fritas were really, really oily

Great soups!

The soups are GREAT, and VERY CHEAP, only 10 Bolivianos. You have two ask specifically wich one is vegan though, but when we were here they where all vegan except for the chicken soup, obviously.

We had the dinner menu, nd exchanged the main course for two soups of our choice!

The owner first said "we have no vegan food", but after some talking it turned out that there were some options

Pros: Delicious and filling soups, Good price on soups

Cons: Difficult to understand vegan options , Owner initially said "no vegan food here"

Quinoa soup & fries were great, view is amazing, staff is helpful

It would be nice to have the vegan options marked, but that’s a lot to ask for Isla del Sol😄

Pros: Food is good and feels clean, View is great

Cons: Vegan options not marked

Some vegan options, with a view

There are no declared vegan dishes, but all the soups seem to be vegan when asking the waiter. And they are good.
The Quinoa soup was our clear favorite!

They also adjusted a sauted quinoa dish to make it vegan for us. The taste was OK.

The second time, they made the eggplant Milanese vegan by simply preparing sauted eggplant. It was good, just lacking some protein.
