Great choice!

Me & my husband visited here during a day trip to Nisyros. We would highly recommend! It's a traditional Greek taverna, in a picturesque location, looking out over the sea.

Our server was very friendly & spoke basic English. She had good knowledge of what dishes were dishes & understood the vegan diet. We ended up over ordering as everything sounded delicious & they were reasonably priced, so we thought they may be small. However, they were generous portions! We had the fava bean dip, a black bean salad, potato salad, chickpea croquettes (which were a bit like flattened falafels) & bread for the dip! All dishes were really lovely and authentic, homemade Greek food, but our favourite was the chickpea croquettes! So tasty! We had coffee & a Mythos with it & couldn't believe how reasonable the price was! Definitely worth a visit!

Pros: Homemade, Traditional Greek food, Location

Remote local gem

Very traditional greek menu, the server was very sweet and understood what I could and couldn't have on the menu, offered something called pitia which I couldn't find on the menu but was like fried chickpeas, would highly recommend, would have ordered fava dip with some bread too but wasn't sure about serving size.

Also also also would highly recommend the kanelada cinnamon drink, very refreshing and also locally and traditionally made. Server appeared happy to answer questions about the different drinks and their origins.

Pros: Lovely, understanding server, Traditional food, Remote location, felt more relaxing

On a day trip to the Island from Kos we opted for eating here and the views were great!
Only a few options but we got a few and just shared them and they were lovely!
Friendly staff, happy to help suggestion things for us.
