There aren’t many options for vegans in rural German areas, so the Ox is a stroke of luck. They have a lot of clearly labeled vegan dishes on their menu and the staff is very friendly and courteous regarding requests. I had the „Flammkuchen“ which want kind of what I expected, it was more like a pizza without cheese, nevertheless, tasty and with a creative topping. My dad was very satisfied with his vegan linguine as well. I also like the cow themed paintings in the restaurant that capture their gentle character and seem to be drawn by an artist who is a true animal friend.
