Lovely hangout - Edit
Ever since I found out that the Good Deeds group also runs this shop while at a veg*n convention in late April, I've been three times, each with a different set of friends, and most of them aren't vegans. Everyone always enjoys what they get though! I haven't strayed from their pineapple shaved ice with oat milk foam since it's so delicious and has many different toppings on it already without having to add anything else. But I did get to try friends' orders. The wax gourd & lemon shaved ice with tapioca balls and caramelized nuts with hot mochi shaved ice are both winners. The brown sugar tofu pudding is solid but nothing out of the ordinary. I thought the strawberry milkshake and matcha red bean milk were fine but nothing to write home about. Not shown on the menu is their strawberry daifuku, which is also fantastic. Items that are not vegan use honey, but they don't use dairy or eggs, so you're safe on that front.
Read moreTwo of the three times I've been, it started pouring rain while we were enjoying ourselves, so we had to hang out for a bit longer than the two-hour limit. Luckily, the staff are reasonable and didn't kick us out into the downpour either time.😄I guess I should go when I think Taipei needs more rain.
