Strange place

I have been here twice. Place is lovely to sit in & comfortable. Food is good but the service is shocking. Starters coming after mains, one person being server & almost finished before the other. People waiting for absolutely ages for food. It’s just the basics they are getting wrong.

Pros: Vegan/ Veg options , Place to bring the kids - bouncy castle etc, Nice decor

Cons: Service, Quite noisy with the bouncy castle , Price

Expensive and tiny portions

Everything on the menu is expensive, especially for the tiny portion size

nice cafe with a few vegan options

We were struggling to find somewhere to eat vegan when we found OWL. It's a nice relaxing place, they also sell organic & vegan foodstuffs.
Not to much choice for vegans, but what we had was delicious, and both waitresses were nice and friendly.

Pros: nice atmosphere, good food

Cons: they sell meat and fish

please skip this place if you want to eat healthy

Their quinoa salad was drenched in vegetable oil, which defeats the purpose. Their so called vegan waffles came covered in whipped cream (dairy). The staff was clueless and not vegan, it's very evident. The staff said the whipped cream was vegan but I insisted and forced them to finally read the label (on the spray can!!) and said oops its not. If someone is lactose intolerant and you outright lie like that, it could make someone very ill. This place fails in service and decency and they might as well be serving burgers and chips because serving vegan food covered in monounsaturated fats increases the risk of many illnesses such as heart disease. You're obviously not a healthy eater if you screw up quinoa. I'm never going back. Any restaurant who lies about what is and isn't vegan can't be trusted.

1 Hour wait and tiny amount of food

We waited for an hour for what was a very small salad that cost €12.50 We also asked for some Falafel for our 2 year old and got 3 falafel balls for €4. After complaining they said the size was expected and we can call ahead in future to avoid the wait times. They explained the restaurant was full (Even though we were there, and it wasn't even half full. 2 parties in plus ourselves)

Lovely cafe!

Really enjoyed my visit to OWL. The team there are lovely and the food was really tasty. Had a big glass of kombucha and a falafel quinoa bowl. Lots of vegan options :)

Love this place!!

Seriously, I cannot express how much I loved this little place. The food is so fresh and tasty, and the meals are really well thought out. It made a real difference to my holiday to be able to find organic vegan food in a place that my omni husband could eat too. The drinks were delicious too. In a week we had lunch twice and took the spelt croissants home for breakfast the next day on both occasions.

Pros: Organic and fresh food, Comfortable setting, Lovely Staff

Tasteful lunch

We ate a wonderful tasteful lunch. You really feel the difference while eating organic food. We choosed a vegan protein plate and the soup of the day. They had various smoothies, drinks and healthy teas. Lovely staff.
