Delicious food & charming location - Edit
Enjoyed a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. O’Vrakas Tavern menu offers a vegan section. I ordered the dish of the day. We also ordered the spinach pie & mushroom pie. All three dishes were simply delicious! The staff are friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere and such a charming location. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Cyprus.

Excellent place for vegans! - Edit
We have been to o Vrakas now several times over different holidays and Harris, Monika and his team are excellent. Although not vegan and they do serve meat unfortunately, the vegan options are home made, traditional and delicious... Just like your greek granny would have made... We cannot recommend highly enough.

We went here on a whim because we saw the happy cow sticker out in the front. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable about vegan food and also the wine selection.

Reflecting on our guests demands, comments, advice, requests and eating habits, we established for 5th year now a special section in our menu, focusing entirely on Vegan dishes. We even proceeded and organized 2 food and wine matching dinners based on Vegan cuisine. We strongly believe that Vegan cuisine has a huge potential not only reflecting on peoples health but also the richness and new spectrum can add to the Gastronomical world. We are very enthusiastic to see the support that this section receives even from people that are not even Vegetarian and our goal is to continue and strengthen the quantity and quality of dishes provided.

One vegan, one veggie and one fussy eater can be tricky but these guys couldn’t do enough to help. Really friendly and determined to look after us. The chick pea curry was delicious.

Good choice of options on the dedicated vegan menu. Very friendly service and they even made vegan mezze especially for us on Bouzouki Night (Wednesdays). We would have given it 5 stars if we could!

Owner really tries - Edit
Even though there is no vegan menu yet (coming this spring), owner finds ways to surprise you with a veganized option. I am visiting this restaurant now for two years, and I believe me and my friends helped him grow into vegan scene. The result is outstanding. This restaurant is a go to place on Cyprus & in spring it will be even better.

Well established Traditional Restaurant set in an enviable position in Pissouri village square. Already an established restaurant serving vegan food but also serve an extensive menu to keep everyone happy all served by the owner Haris and his delightful staff.

Excellent vegan food and brilliant restaurant staff - Edit
I've been to O'vrakas on a few occasions and each time they were able to create a vegan dish without prior notice, really understanding the requirements of a vegan diet.
Read moreI went between Christmas and new year giving prior notice, the owner had arranged a delicious tomato soup for starter, an avocado pasta dish for main and a vegan cheesecake made from tofu for dessert! The veggies and meat eaters tried it and all loved it!
O'vrakas is closed during the off season but the owner advised that he will be returning in March with a vegan (and gluten free) menu due to its popularity.
As far as I know this will be the only restaurant in the area with a dedicated vegan menu.
In addition to the great food the staff are friendly and helpful and really understand veganism.
