the view at the top is beautiful however the food was very average and not a ton of vegan options. the brussel sprouts were good but nothing special. had the rice bowl as a main dish and it was almost entirely rice.

Went to Over Eden last night. Beautiful atmosphere.
Read moreLimited vegan options but the whole menu is small. Food was really tasty and well made.
We had the brussel spouts, beat salad, "beef" tips and impossible burger.
The Brussels and Beats were soooo good. Brussels shredded then fried crispy with carrots and topped with this delicious roasted macadamia nut crumble. The beats were perfectly cooked on a well dressed bed of mixed greens. They had very yummy fine shaved horseradish on top.
Beef tips were stewed and had a very rich flavor. Served on a bed of rice it didn't look like much but was very delicious.
The impossible burger was a bit more char broiled than I like it but the bun and vegan toppings really made it.
Definitely recommend Over Eden

love this place!! - Edit
Over Eden has an amazing view of the Pittsburgh skyline and delicious (and super well labeled) vegan options and drinks! The Brussels sprouts and veggie burger (minus cheese and sauce) are amazing, plus another tempeh main course option. Would recommend for a nice night out - the restaurant is in a hotel, so to park in the main lot you have to pay $10 for valet

Amazing food and view - Edit
One of the best vegan options in Pittsburgh! A truly gorgeous view of the city from the 5th floor of the TRYP Hotel. We got the za’atar chips, the sweet potato, the marinated artichoke (made vegan), the hummus, the baba ganoush, falafel and the rice bowl. Everything was amazing, I was absolutely blown away! The artichoke made vegan was so unbelievably good, as was the falafel, which was crunchy and perfect. The sweet potato and the rice bowl were both magnificent, lots of flavor and a bit spicy! The hummus was the best hummus I’ve ever eaten out, and the baba was smoky and delicious. Even the pita was amazing! My vegan family went with gf family (they loved the gf bread!) and it was perfect for both! Deserves 5 stars, but they do serve meat. VE is vegan, V is vegetarian.
