I had already been to the original Espécie restaurant and loved it so I was super excited to try this location and it did not disappoint! Had the baos and the eggplant katsu sandwich and both were great, especially the sandwich.

LiI had a satisfying lunch experience with a diverse range of vegan options. The Kung Pao Cauliflower, followed by the bean chili, was particularly delightful. I left feeling full and content. The staff were friendly and offered great recommendations for vegan dishes.

We had dinner there, the service was super nice. We ordered the tofummus which was a great surprise, the cherry tomatoes with the hummus and bread mix perfectly well; the baos, which were not our favorite as it lacked some flavor; and the schnitzel with japanese curry, again an excellent choice. For desert we had the cake of the day (chocolate cake), and we got a giant portion.

Lots of options - my friend and I got some dishes to share. The waitress did warn us that it was too much and she may have been right! I really enjoyed the Cauliflower wings - sooooo good! I also loved the oyster mushroom pancakes. Really nice place with very friendly staff.

we came here on our last night in porto and it was pouring rain. we had such amazing service and everything we ate was just amazing. we got warned about the KFC being spicy- but we didn’t find it spicy at all. it was however the best cauliflower wings we’ve ever had- hands down!

La carta no es muy grande (ayuda a no marearse para elegir) y tiene dos tipos de platos: columna izquierda las entradas o platitos para compartir, y columna derecha los primeros platos. Todo delicioso. Los dos postres un lujo. Pero lo mejor, por lejos, es la calidad del servicio por su personal. Un trato estupendo.

The majority of their creative menu is vegan, and many of their vegetarian dishes can be easily modified to be 100% plant-based. Ordered the corn, bean & sweet potato chili along with the tofummus and strawberry gazpacho (which was nothing short of mind-blowing). Finished with the incredible peanut butter, coconut & oreo tart!

Read moreThey offer many vegetarian and vegan tapas that a super delicious for a good price. Try the Korean fried Cauliflower that was so delicious but also a little bit to salty. Hummus with tortilla was also a good choice. From the grilled vegetables we have promised more. Anyway super location with tasty tapas for a good price and friendly staff!
