Some vg pasties & treats

Well done on having a selection of vegan pasties and treats! Lots of other pasty shops are a bit behind the times. The vg chicken and leek pasty was yummy and so was the lemon tart. I loved the look of the choc cake but I didn’t have the room for it! 😂

Delicious pasties

I heard this place has some of the best vegan cakes in Brighton so I popped in to have a look, hoping for the lemon meringue pie I'd spotted on Happy Cow. Unfortunately my timing was bad because their seasonal range was in so there were a lot of mince pies (which I don't like). So instead I got one of their pasties and oh boy was it delicious. It was chi'ken and leek and came wrapped in a buttery, flaky pastry. The inside was creamy and cooked to perfection with a slight peppery aftertaste. It kept its heat very well and I'm hoping to stock up on a few for the journey home so I can try some of their other vegan flavours. Yum!

Great pasties & cakes

My all times favourite is the vegan Thai curry pasty - and it’s insanely filling! Also tried a few of their cakes which are also very lovely.

Big pasty

Had a half Thai pasty with a lot of veggies and coconut inside. A perfect in between snack in a wonderful street.

Great for quick food

I love this little shop. They have a nice selection of vegan pasties and cakes. There isn’t much seating inside, but if you do find a place, it’s very cosy and a nice place to people watch.

I dream about the Mexicana pastry

The Mexicana Cornish pastry is one of my favourite things in this world. Perfect amount of spicy but I can take spice so beware - the other pastries are good but not spicy. I live around the corner and I sometimes get the 2 for 1 offer (two big pastries for about £4) multiple times a week because they're so good and filling. Will miss this when I move away!

Pros: So many vegan options - all the cakes are vegan , Nice friendly owner and employee , 2 for 1 after 5.30 p.m.

Cons: Not all vegan

BEST VEGAN CAKES & SWEET TREATS

Although known for their vegan pasty and sausage roll options (which are all fantastic) it’s their cakes which are just simply the best! They offer so many vegan cakes, brownies, cheesecakes, tarts... even vegan custard tarts and vegan meringue! Big applaud to the baker- everything has been amazing. Check out their instagram for all the delicious sweet good they do!

Pros: BEST VEGAN CAKES IN BRIGHTON

Vegan cakes

Although not entirely vegan they have 3 vegan pasties and a vegan "sausage" roll and an abundance of vegan cakes. In fact, on the day of our visit all the cakes were vegan. Can't comment on the savouries but the cake we had was delicious 😋

Pros: Loads of vegan cake. Good location

Great for a tasty snack

This place has pasties, a "sausage" roll and cakes on offer. As I just wanted something little I went for the "sausage" roll and found it to be filled with a really flavoursome tomatoey paste. Overall it had great texture and taste and I would definitely go here again.

Pros: Great taste, 2-4-1 pasties just before closing

Good vegan cakes

Three vegan pasties, a vegan sausage roll and a selection of Vegan cakes. The lemon meringue tart was lovely - good pastry and nice sharp lemon curd to contrast with the meringue. The coffee is nice too but it is a shame they have a surcharge for non-dairy milk (20p for soya, 50p for oat/almond) - a pet hate of mine.
A few indoor seats plus some outside tables which are nice on a warm day.

Pros: Vegan options, Located in the North Lanes

Cons: Not all veg*an, Surcharge for non-dairy milk

The Best Vegan Cakes in Brighton

I visit the pasty shop a lot (probably an excessive amount) as working opposite it is literally impossible to resist.

There are several vegan pasty options, all of which are great but the Thai vegetable is amazing!

The cakes change on a regular basis and over 50% are usually vegan and clearly marked. They have rich chocolate, peanut or biscoff cakes more often than not but have loads of other interesting flavours and even vegan meringue.

It’s conveniently located in the middle of the North Laines so it’s a great stop for lunch or to pick up on the go, the staff are always really friendly and helpful. It’s definitely one of Brighton’s best kept vegan secrets, if you’re in the city for a limited time then this has to be at the top of your places to try.

Pros: Amazing flavours , Multiple vegan options , Friendly staff

Cake that will change your life!

The cakes here will literally change your life, and possible the size trousers you wear...
I personally find it hard to go past the lotus biscoff loaf because it's amazing! Having said that the other vegan cakes all look super and the selection is always changing so there's something for everyone. The staff are always smiley and friendly. Oh and not to forget the pasties are ace too :-)

Pros: lotus biscoff loaf, excellent selection of cakes, Tasty pasties

Cons: Having to buy trousers the next size up ;-)

Amazing Cakes

I'd seen photos of their cakes on Facebook, so had been meaning to visit for a while, but I was still surprised that they tasted as good as they look.
The pasties are great, we tried the Mexican an Thai ones and the Mexican one was really spicy, but it was the cakes that were the stars, probably the best we've tried at a place that wasn't 100% vegan.

Pros: cakes, did I mention the cakes?, oh, and the cakes!

Cons: Also sells meat stuff :(

Many vegan options. Huge pasties, also vegan sausage rolls and other savouries and dessert treats also. I split the vegan Thai vegetable pasty with my friend, and it was delicious! I would be a regular customer if I lived in Brighton!

One of a kind: Finally a Vegan Pasty Shop

This authentic pastry shop was faultless and had an delcious range of vegan pasty and cakes! The pasties were beyond delicious and to find a vegan nut free chocolate cake is rare so I couldn't believe my luck! The staff were incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about their vegan selection. Would recommend to any foodies.
