These waffles are lovely. Staff were polite and easily understood the vegan request, and highlighted the cross combination risk as they serve non-vegan waffles too. Toppings are by default vegan. I opted for the Crispy Cacao, my partner had the Chocolate Lady, and there's plenty more options if you choose to pick your own. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The staff let us know that all toppings where vegan including the ice cream. Really good lemon ice cream btw. The waffle was good but i especially liked the chokolate mouse.

Alle toppings die je er kan krijgen zijn vegan en glutenvrij, enige wat niet vegan is is het ei wat in het “normale” beslag zit. Er is ook een vegan beslag, maar de wafel is een beetje slap. Bij de “normale” wafel weet ik niet of die ook slap is. Voor de rest lekkere toppings.

Went plain so I could really enjoy the waffle itself, which was also great value - only €4! Really delicious, I went back again!
Only thing to be aware of is they make the waffles in the same machine as the non-vegan ones, so to be aware in case that's an issue for you!

I recently visited Otto Waffle Atelier and was so impressed with my first experience that I returned a second time the same day! The first waffle I had was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. However, my second visit was a bit underwhelming; the waffle was slightly undercooked and didn’t have the same great taste as the first.

If Otto Waffle Atelier can maintain the quality of that first waffle consistently, it would be an amazing place! I’m hoping my next visit will return to that high standard. Still would give it 5 stars because it was so delicious the first time.

You just have to ask for the plant-based version.
I also got the hot chocolate with oat milk and vegan whipped cream on top.  Surprisingly not too sweet.

Well finally! They used to only sell some vegan icecream, but now also have vegan waffles!
It is not indicated on the menu above counter yet, but just ask.
All the options/toppings are available in vegan version.
The waffles are currently baked in the same irons as the non-vegan waffles, but they will buy an additional iron to bake the vegan waffles seperately and avoid any cross contamination.
Very friendly, willing to provide info about ingredients etc.
Only take away, no sit down area.

Great to find totally vegan waffles. Had the summer cherry with almond icecream which was delicious. However not much of an area to eat in doors. It was raining when we arrived in bruge so waited for a sunnier day to enjoy

Cozy small waffle atelier in centre Brugge/Bruges. When we walked past earlier in the day it was super busy but around 4PM it was surprisinly call (luckily). Super friendly staff. I had the Chocolate Lady and asked for the plant based option. Icecream and waffle were delicious. I also really like that they offer more "healthy" waffles based on oats and without refined sugar. Would deff recommend!

But, the egg less oat based batter was so good, you couldn't tell the difference other than it maybe wasn't as crispy as I expected.
Overall, very good, quick service, and friendly staff.
