We sought this place out on a recent day trip to Bruges. It was so great to have authentic Belgian waffles, and the iced coffees were also fantastic on a hot day. We sat in the tiny but lovely courtyard garden at the back. The waffles seemed expensive, but maybe that's true of anywhere in Bruges.

Went here after hunting around for vegan waffles - their waffles are lovely, oat based and not-too-sweet! They have a variety of toppings to choose from and the rhubarb one was absolutely spot on. Beautiful portions and friendly service!

Gluten free and lactose free waffles (can order vegan waffles). All toppings are plant based (including whipped cream and ice cream). Each waffle was 4.5euros and the toppings were around 1.5-3 euros each.

All the toppings are vegan (including whipped cream and ice cream)! The entire shop is gluten and dairy free, but the standard waffle batter is not vegan (presumedly it has eggs). You can request vegan for any waffle. I got the Easter special, which had mango, pistachio ice cream, pistachios, and lime zest. It was very good and unique but I found myself wishing I had gone for something a bit more traditional (like chocolate or strawberries and whipped cream). The waffles are made fresh to order and the turnaround from ordering to receiving my waffle was pretty fast.

'Plant based' waffles - Edit
All the toppings are plant based and you can specify plant based for the waffle mix (although they do cook them on the same waffle iron as the regular waffle mix). I tried two different toppings, the seasonal special with cranberries and the 'Go Nuts' with mixed nuts and pear. Both were tasty and the waffles themselves were light and fluffy.

These were fully gluten free and all toppings plant based but you could not tell the difference. We chose the make your own option and were blown away by the amount of choices and the quality! Cannot recommend enough!

Easily my fave food while in Bruges! All toppings are vegan but you do need to specify vegan batter. Choose from their menu or create your own toppings. I went for classic strawberries, chocolate sauce and whipped cream and it was lovely. The waffles are gluten free but they were very good and did not have that dry texture GF products sometimes have.

I couldn't read the word "vegan" anywhere, sometimes "plant based" pops up. Don't know if that's on purpose as to not scare omnis away, but I found that quite interesting. I also didn't think there was a non vegan dough too, I thought every waffle was. The two kinds are made in the same iron, so they ask if that's okay in case of allergies.
Read moreAnyway, I got their special "Summer Cherry" (10€). Please specify vegan when ordering. They could've gone for more almond cream, but honestly the waffle itself is so good - it doesn't need much on top. The cherries are also an usual topping, so that was a very refreshing addition.
I absolutely recommend coming here as a vegan / gluten free person / or literally anyone !!!
Edit: Went again for the "Tutti frutti" in vegan for 10€. Amazing again. Even the chocolate mousse is vegan.

These were absolutely beautiful. Tasty, freshly made, gorgeous presentation. The toppings were all vegan so loads of choice. We spent just one day in Bruges and only discovered this place at the end of the day - wish I'd found it sooner and had several!
