Beautiful food, lovely decor and super friendly staff. Loads of gluten-free options and staff are very knowledgeable with allergies. Food is reasonably priced, although the drinks are a little expensive. I will definitely be returning.

Vegan heaven - Edit
The food here is incredible with large portions (we ordered too much!). The food is so authentic you forget it's a vegan restaurant, there are no "mock' foods. I would eat here every day if I could 😍 I had the wrap and my husband had the sexy pie, both of which were delish!

Aesthetically pleasing - Edit
Came with my family - we went into the "wrong" entrance via the pub, but turns out you can get to Otto this way! The direct way would be up the colourful steps at the side of the pub.
Read moreWe ordered loads of food - Otto Wada, Otto Mezze, falafel, bread and olive oil, Badadas, pie, vegetable Qurma, lemon and herb basmalti rice, Sigaro borek plate, Supangle and Baklava with vanilla ice cream. Oh and 2x alcoholic drinks.
All looked very rustic - standouts were the desserts (Supangle tasted like there was dark chocolate in there, yum), the Badadas (gigantic crispy potatos, yes), the cheese curd (sooo creamy) and the Babaganoush on the mezze platter.
The Sigaro were like springrolls - not much on the inside and if you like springrolls for the main course then this is it. For me, because it's springrolls, it's a little too pastry-ey as a main. It came with dips, one was a creamy white dip which had subtle flavours of sour cream and chives/onions and the other might be mint and pea pureed with lemon - both tasted nice.
Everyone enjoyed the food, the decor is pleasing to the eyes - waiter extremely helpful, recommended some dishes as we were overwhelmed by all the words on the menu.

Never ever disappoints - Edit
This is the second time we’ve been, both on Sundays and both with a small but active baby in tow. It never disappoints, and even my 1 year old gets his fill. I recommend the Sunday roast with a West Indian Guinness. The staff have always been very welcoming to families also.

So good! - Edit
So happy to have a vegan place in Bramhall. Great extensive menu; we loved every dish we tried (including non-vegan family!) Staff were lovely and very accommodating when we had to move the booking later due to traffic. Will definitely be coming back here😄#Veganuary

Stunningly good - Edit
We visited whilst on holiday and were pleased we made the effort to visit. It's close to Bramhall station (Stockport to Stoke-on-Trent line) and we got the 42B from Manchester, making it possible to get there by public transport if you plan in advance (both train and bus services aren't that frequent but do run into the evening).
Read moreIt's up a flight of stairs from a pub, but had a lovely cosy atmosphere which I loved. We arrived early evening so they weren't busy, we were served extremely fast.
The food was beautifully presented and nicely spiced - we tried the Mezze board and then three mains and two desserts. All were delicious and my kids practically dived head first into the puddings!
It would be great for an intimate date night, but also good with kids if they are adventurous and willing to try new things.
I will definitely visit again when we visit Manchester. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely love this place. Been a couple of times now and doesn’t disappoint. Delicious food and lovely place. Love the mezze style sharing boards and small plates (main courses available too) and always great that’s it’s fully vegan. One of my favourite places!

Exceptionally good food - Edit
A very different, imaginative Middle East themed vegan menu. Been twice & food was excellent both times. The food was filling without being heavy. Had a mezze starter followed by a delicious Persian curry. This is a smallish restaurant located above the much larger The Crown & Conspirator pub in the heart of Bramhall village. Well worth finding.

Tried the Samoon sandwich menu for the first time, the Frickle and Pickle option, just because it sounded so intriguing. It was the usual genius Otto combination of flavour, top ingredients and a work of art! Excellent value too. Need to try the Sunday roast next. Fab place💚

Disappointed! - Edit
I’ve visited on a few occasions and the food has been very good and the staff very helpful. I recently booked whilst enquiring if the chef would be able to prepare a dish for a friend who cannot for health reasons eat garlic. I explained that garlic being in the same prep area was definitely not an issue as this was not an allergic reaction. After speaking to the chef the member of staff advised that they could not prepare a dish without garlic as they all contain it! As I thought all the food was prepared to order this seems strange and all other restaurants in the area have not found it a problem at all! Very disappointing and won’t be returning

Delicious - Edit
Gorgeous food, really fresh and delicious. Absolutely spoilt for choice with what to choose. In the end we shared the mezze to start (divine), then had kofta, qurma, lemon rice and mujudara (all so fresh and tasty) and shared the baklava (delucious). Drinks selection was also great and fab, friendly service.
