Suuuuper kind blonde waitress. I got the Alpha Beta Vega with extra Feta (so 21€ instead of 17,50€) and it was amazing!! Thin crust but still stable. Olives complimented the feta so much. And the cucumber - I would've never expected how nicely it fits on pizza?? It's an amazing match!!! Highly recommend.

JUST as amazing. Sooo tasty. Always a friendly service. They only serve one sice. This pizza is definitely missing no cheese whatsoever, everything on it is already perfect.

Really glad we found here in Brugge.
Read moreWe had the “dirty vegan” and the “alpha beta vega”.
Both were really tasty on a thin crispy base.
The dirty vegan had seitan and coleslaw on it whereas the ABV had salad and “feta”.
The chilli oil helped bring some heat but both were really good in their own right.
You should try these if you are in town.

We got the alpha beta vega pizza and it did not disappoint! The arugula and sauce on the pizza made up for the lack of cheese, and gave it a lot more flavor. Vegan options are labeled very clearly and nice staff!!

We went there as a group of 6 friends in December 2024. I ordered the Alpha Beta Vega pizza and a Duvel beer. They had a balanced pairing together. As a vegan, I was happy with my meal. However, we couldn't find any options on the menu for my friend, who has a gluten allergy. Even after asking the staff twice, they said there was nothing gluten-free. When we asked if we could bring something gluten-free from outside for our friend to eat with us, we were unfortunately refused. This behavior didn’t seem very kind to us.

Got the vegan curry pizza, it was quite good although the “cheese” was rather like an airy cream; the chili oil is great and is actually spicy (unlike in France)

Zeker een aanrader om te gaan eten als je eens in Brugge bent. Ze hebben 2 volledig vegan pizza's en nog een aantal vegetarische, die allemaal heel lekker zijn. Ook zijn er 3 of 4 verschillende bijgerechten plantaardig, wat handig is voor de combi-optie die je krijgt bij het bestellen.

This location in Bruges is our least favourite Otomat, as they seem mainly oriented at tourists, and not always very welcoming. The outdoor seating is also very crowded.

2023 04 - Otomat removed the Las Vega (with mushrooms, spinach and soy espuma(. From the menu. Real bummer. My favourite pizza and the number one reason why we went to this place, sooo 😓
They replaced it with another vegan pizza, but it's just not nearly as good.

2022/10: Been here several times over the years, and love the Las Vega (with spinach and soy espuma).
Service is very irregular. Sometimes very swift and friendly, sometimes very slow and a bit grumpy (on one occassion we even just left after having waited very long to simply order).
Gave them a Happy Cow sticker, hope they put it on the window (think I already gave one yrs ago, but it was never put up?)

2020 11: Update: There are now standardly 3 vegan pizzas available. I really like the Las Vega, with spinach and espuma from soy yoghurt. The Dirty Vegan is with seitan.

2018/10: There are two vegan pizzas standardly available.
They were nice, but if you have a huge appetite this will not be filling. Would also be nice to have some vegan minced, or tofu, or seitan on top, to add some more bite. (Update, there now is a pizza with seitan).
Good for a lunch though.
None of the salads or appetizers is standardly vegan (you can ask a salad without the dressing). No vegan desserts.
Friendly service, nice interior. Fair price.
Ground level is accessible, toilets are upstairs.

Thanks to Happy Cow ambassador Trudi’s awesome vegan restaurant blog, we went to Otomat for lunch today. Two adult vegans and two teenage omnivores, all went away very happy with what we’d eaten. I had the las vega curry pizza, Mrs Vegan had the alpha beta vega pizza. Both had really tasty toppings on a lovely thin base. Good service and well priced too 👍🌱💚

Thin crust so you don't fill up on dough and a decent size for one person, or you could share.
Belgian apple cider was delicious too, in between a dry and sweet and very refreshing.
I didn't have a coffee as they only offer dairy milk.

I definitely appreciate the vegan options. I had the Dirty Vegan and I liked the toppings and dough, but the “cheese” wasn’t really vegan cheese. It looked and tasted like a vegan aioli instead. Kind of tart. The place is cute and the staff attentive. I just wasn’t the biggest fan of the cheese, but I would try them again.

Two vegan pizza options on the menu - we had the alpha beta vega which had no cheese base but feta cubes on top, thin pizza dough with a nice crust. Cool place inside and they recommend a beer for each pizza. The staff were lovely!

Mehrere vegane Pizzen sowie eine Vorspeise und ein Salat. Die Pizza ohne Tomatensauce (n-o-tomat) war ungewöhnlich, aber lecker. Ich hätte mir noch eine glutenfreie Variante gewünscht, vielleicht kommt das ja irgendwann mal. Witzig: Es gibt zu jeder Pizza eine passende Bier-Empfehlung. Nettes, junges Personal, den Service fand ich etwas zu unaufdringlich.

Unsually but amazing pizzas, two vegan options and vegan options for starters & side salads. I had the dirty vegan and it was absolutely fabulous! Do not expect italian pizza tho - the dough is a bit more flaky than that.

Pizza restaurant in busy Square. Just the one vegan pizza option, 'dirty vegan' which had seitan topping. We asked for just a margerita using the vegan cheese which seemed to cause some issues and the waiter didn't seem keen to help for some reason. Finally came, decent size, we shared amongst 2 and had the vegan coleslaw which was tasty. The cheese was a nutty cheese crumbled on top. Worth a go if your struggling to find options in area.
