Would not recommend for vegans, ok for vegetarian - Edit
With the good reviews and the staff's reassurance that they could easily do something vegan, I attempted to eat here. There were no vegan options marked on the menu, so I asked what was available. The server listed a few simple things like grilled veggies(a side dish), a salad, or pasta with tomato sauce and veggies. I should have left when he said "cheese is ok, right?" My mistake.
Read moreThe pasta was surprisingly greasy, but I assumed it was olive oil. I got sick a couple of hours later. I am lactose intolerant. Between that and the cheese comment, I think the "oil" was actually butter. I am not at all confident that this restaurant knows what vegan means.
Cons: Staff thought cheese was vegan., I got sick after eating here.

I have allergies and am vegan and the chef came out and let me read the ingredients to the pasta I was ordering. Nothing special about the pasta but the service and ambience was great. My family was able to eat what they like and I had safe food to eat. REALLY KIND PEOPLE

Smallest plate of grilled vegetables ever - Edit
I wasn’t craving any pasta, so I went for the plate of grilled vegetables which was really 6 to 8 slices of a mix of Aubergine, paprika and courgette.

Also, they do have a small list of vegan dishes but mostly pasta with a sauce, no meat substitute or cheese. Also, the pasta with pesto isn’t vegan even if it’s labeled under the vegan section.

Despite being on the vegan menu, the waiter explained to me that the pesto contains cheese.

Venice's hidden gem for vegans - Edit
The vegan menu consists of 5 dishes, none of which are especially innovative, but which are of very solid quality and come as a blessing between the meat-and-cheese menus of Venice. We had the vegan pasta pesto and the pasta funghi porcini, both of which were very good. Staff was very friendly as well, even though we were late for our reservation.
