Perfect Dinner - Edit
We were looking for a nice dinner and we got much more than we expected! Great labeled vegan options and some veggie options that were veganisable. The starter was our favourite - pickeled onions and pumpkin with the best polenta we’ve ever tasted. If I could give this restaurant five stars, I would.

Excellent cosy little osteria - Edit
With several vegan options listed as vegan on the menu and the ability to veganise other dishes, this was a great find and location for a chilled Sunday dinner. I had a spaghetti arrabiata followed by a chocolate mousse with strawberries. Good atmosphere, a traditional vibe and very cosy with quick friendly service.

Very good athmosphere, nice serving also! Food was delicious, we had two different plates of gnocchi and sides (peppers & eggplant).

I came here with my husband as I saw they have vegan options. There is no AC so might as well have been sitting outside somewhere. My husband is an omni and we realized that osteria means a fish restaurant and he doesn’t eat fish. We ordered the pumpkin gnocchi and I don’t know what we got but it’s not the gnocchi I saw in the photos. It was not good! My poor husband ended up eating mine. This was very disappointing especially as the bill was 58€ for two of those meals that felt more like a bad appetizer, a glass of wine and a bottle of water. I wish we had gone back to The Corner like the previous night. Very disappointed!!!!!

Pickings are slim in Venice for vegans, but we have brought three large vegan groups when we are in Venice. The vegan menu has changed a little over the three years and it is always tasty. We appreciate having something different to the pizza and pasta offerings that are available for vegans in other non vegan places.
Read moreThere is a vegan menu due to the daughter of the owners is vegan and she advocated for this menu to be available. The venue is super cute and has wonderful vibes. I would recommend for sure. :-)

A bit pricey for what you get but normal for Venice.
Friendly staff but slow service. Not too many tables available so come in early if you can.
