Coffe shop off island - Edit
It is a little out of the way but they have good coffee/lattes and vegan breakfast items. The bagels are just store bought Lender’s but they were not bad. They use Violife cream cheese and it was good on the bagel. The cashier seemed annoyed. Maybe because it was 90 degrees and humid and it was hot inside.

Cons: Cashier not friendly, No Air cond on 90 degree day, Not homemade bagels

Afternoon coffee - Edit
Popped in for an afternoon snack and was so pleased to find a vegan crumb cake (tres leches) and a vegan blueberry muffin. I had the tres leches and it was great! The couple next to me said they frequent often and that their breakfast sandwiches are amazing. They offer vegan eggs, bacon, cheese, cream cheese, and milk alternatives!

Delicious Desserts and Good Coffee - Edit
Although a little out of the way of the center, Ostara's is a must for vegan vacationers.
Read moreVegan milks are offered with any coffee drink for a charge. Usually, three to four vegan options are provided: muffins, cakes, etc. The sweets are the real draw. Nowhere else in the town can you find more vegan options.
The friendly and welcoming staff and eclectic decor make the cafe's atmosphere delightful.
Visiting Ostara's is a wonderfully unique experience with plenty of vegan love.

Great Vibe - Edit
I’m so sad that we found this little coffee shop on our last day in town. It was amazing! They have all the usual alternative milks that they can add to your coffee (unfortunately there is an up charge). And on the day we were in they had two vegan muffins. The muffins were gluten-free in addition to vegan but they were so delicious. They were wonderfully moist and the pineapple coconut was our favorite. The baristas were super chipper for 7:30 AM and quick to offer suggestions of their favorite beverages (I’d have to say the Kirstin Wiig was tasty!) I will totally go back here again next time I’m in Cape May.

Tres Leches Cake - Edit
I thought I would never have Tres Leches Cake after going vegan, but was pleasantly surprised to find one at this cute coffee place in West Cape May. There were actually five varieties of vegan baked goods to choose from. They were also all gluten free. I was very happy to finally have Tres Leches Cake again and look forward to going back and trying the other baked goods.

A Gorgeous Coffee Experience! - Edit
My sister and I visited for the first time yesterday and were both so excited about how inclusive they are across the board! From the vegan desserts and drink options to the size inclusive merchandise and socially conscious items, it is clear the owner(s) have taken the time to consider how to be inclusive to all people. I cannot stress how thoughtfully curated their selection of books, jewelry, clothing, and more was! I also feel it's important to note the beautiful plants throughout the store, the greenery eveloping all areas of the store. I was able to snag a vegan chocolate frosted brownie and got a delicious cold brew coffee made with oat milk and coffee ice cubes (how amazing is that?!). The brownie was so decadent I couldn't bring finish it in one go! Though this is my first time visiting Cape May, I can assure you it will certainly not be my last as places such as this wondering coffee house made me feel right at home!
