Something to be desired - Edit
Truthfully, expectations were higher for this restaurant. They have the same menu for lunch and dinner, with a noodle salad and a risotto. Both of which you need to specify vegan, otherwise it may come with butter or something else. No vegan menu. For breakfast as well, only the toast with condiments and hashbrowns are easily vegan (must specify no butter for toast), otherwise substitutions must be made. The staff are generally uncertain about vegan options and go to ask the chef (which is nice rather than assuming). Prices are also higher than we're used to/what we would normally pay elsewhere for the same dishes. Views are spectacular so that was a saving grace for this restaurant. If you are staying at the hotel, the only other restaurants close by are by van/taxi that you must pre-arrange, or bring your own vehicle to travel to Port Douglas.

Ask the kitchen - Edit
Seems they no longer have a separate vegan menu. A few items on the menu can be made vegan like the risotto and rice noodle dish. We both the risotto and it was great. Also, fantastic views.

Lovely unique place - Edit
One of a kind restaurant nestled in a rainforest reserve with view to the ocean! The dinner menu is changing, yet always with a vegan starter, main and sides. The staff is very helpful and the kitchen prepares delicious food. The eggplant dish was so delicious I don't mind having it twice.
