A Hiddden Gem! - Edit
The Place:
Read moreCan't think of anywhere more suited to the term "hole in a wall." Tucked away in a really random area of town I have never ventured to... but they have parking (a rarity in Hawai'i)! It looks a little sketchy at night, but it's worth it! Rock music playing, a few arcade games—sitcom go-to hang out spot vibes, for sure.
The Food:
The vegan patties are made in house and are actually quite good! Controversial take: I refuse to eat impossible burgers. They just taste too real, despite not having consumed meat since I was 3 years old. I am so relieved to have found a place that serves patties I enjoy, at an affordable price. I had the Vegan Western Cheeseburger. Delicious. Don't know if I've ever devoured anything quite so fast before. In fact, I was so excited to eat that I didn't manage to get any pictures of the food (just the menu) which is unusual for me. The kimchi potstickers were tasty! I read some reviews calling them bland; they do not have a spicy kimchi flavor if that's what you're after, but dunked in the sauce, they taste quite nice in my opinion.
Random Aside:
If you are accustomed to the vegan food in Portland or some culinary Mecca, you may not be overly impressed. However, by Hawai'i standards, I think the food is good. It's unusual to find a place like Osoyami with any vegan options, let alone a separate vegan menu. The prices are also very affordable for the state. I give it a 9/10, all things considered, and will be back very soon for more!

Fried Kimchi potstickers: very interesting, unique, and great tasting personally. My girlfriend says she doesn’t typically like kimchi and/or potstickers and this one she enjoyed!
Fries: large (enough for 2), tinge of spice- I enjoyed them
Teriyaki burger and Western burger were equally great a couldn’t go wrong in my opinion
Vegan spicy ahi pokechos: large plate, good spices, almost licked the plate clean.
Overall- great Tuesday night dinner at a great price😄

Read moreWe ordered the vegan western burgers which were decent. Garlic fries were okay. I wouldn’t order the vegan kimchi potstickers, they were lacking in flavor IMO. On the plus side, cocktails are cheap and they have darts and some arcade games! I’d definitely pick it if I had non vegans with me.

They have an entire vegan menu and the staff is amazing!!!! I did eat a spicy chicken sandwich and my brother who is not veggie had some of it to confirm but it tasted sooooooo fishy. Super bummer. I’ll still come back but just be wary if you’re super sensitive to that kinda thing. I’ll come back and keep trying though. This place is awesome!

Seriously delicious food in a low key spot with good parking. I was delighted to see such a large and varied vegan menu. Delicious garlic fries, vegan wings and great vegan burgers. So good my wife and I will be returning as soon as we can before we have to go back home!

This place has some really yummy options. If you are after comfort food, the burgers, fries, mashed potatoes are all really nice, but the vegan nachos are one of the best things I've had in Hawaii. They're sushi themed, so not at all what I was expecting, but they were amazing

Ended up there because the first restaurant could not accommodate and the food was awesome. We got the guacamole burger and the furious burger, both were great and our bill wasn't crazy high. Music was awesome as well.

I’m on vacation with my husband and his family and I’ve had to make a lot of the restaurant decisions since I’m vegan and my in-laws aren’t and I’m so happy I found this place! Separate vegan menu with great burger choices! I got the teriyaki burger and my hubby got the furious burger. If I was a little hungrier we would have tried the kimchi dumplings or the seitan chicken bites. Left so full! My in-laws also very much enjoyed their food from the non-vegan menu. So perfect for vegans and non-vegans!

We ordered to much! But we ate everything anyway. Portions are big, food was great! Vegan menu is available upon request😉but there are few solid options! We really enjoyed it! Would totally recommend!
