Falafel is good, but garlic sauce not so much - Edit
Haven’t been to an Osmow’s for a very long time. Decided to give it a try as they do have vegan options (Beyond Meat ground and vegan garlic sauce).
Read moreHad a falafel with fries and the other with salad. The only modification or option we selected was medium spice as we wanted to see how the vegan garlic sauce plays out. We have always made the falafels vegan by adding just tahini.
The plates were overly loaded with garlic sauce as all the other plates were also loaded with regular garlic sauce. The vegan garlic sauce tasted - vegan. Not even close to the regular garlic sauce we have had. No garlic flavour, just odd tasting fat.
The falafel, fries were freshly fried, which were good. The fresh salad was ok.
The service was good and the interior was clean and empty when we went. They really need to work on the vegan garlic sauce - perhaps put (more) some real garlic in it.
