Delicious Vegan options - Edit
Lovely location & good selection of vegan options. Checked in with the staff who was very helpful & was clear on what was vegan when asked. Pasta was lovely as were the spring rolls & fries!

They gave me real cheese - Edit
Vegans please be extra careful with this restaurant, the menu claims that all pizzas can be made vegan with vegan cheese, but the cheese (mozzarella and feta) on my pizza was clearly real. My gf compared it with her pizza (normal cheese) and it tasted exactly the same. The texture of the cheese also nothing like vegan cheese. They tried to convince me that it was vegan but after I politely refused, they made me a pizza without cheese, which was tasty in the end. My recommendation is to order without cheese.

Delicious! - Edit
Absolutely loved our meal here. Slightly pricier than some of the other local eateries but very pleasant ambience and view, incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, and a nice variety of clearly labelled vegan options on a separate menu.

Good range of vegan dishes - Edit
We came there for the vegan moussaka which unfortunately was taken from the menu. However, we haven’t been disappointed by what we ordered instead. Especially the Arancini were super delicious and the vegan parmesan tasted so good. Also, don’t miss to order the pita bread, it’s excellent. The food there is definitely worth the higher prices.

Best options on the island - Edit
The restaurant is lovely with a nice sea view and sunset. The service was excellent. There’s a separate Vegan/Vegetarian menu which was the only time I saw this the whole week in Kefalonia. The gentleman who served us said it was all vegan but there were dishes labelled as having honey in which I avoided just to be safe. Maybe question that yourself if you go. The food was really nice if a little more expensive than elsewhere on the island.

Oskars - Edit
There is a separate menu with vegan and vegetarian dishes. We had the vegan moussaka and rice-mushroom balls, both tasted good. The restaurant has a very large terrace with seats, from there you can look directly at the sea :).

Amazing! - Edit
Best vegan food I’ve had so far in Kefalonia and the only place with a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. I had the vegan moussaka, made with soya protein, vegetables, vegan béchamel sauce and vegan Parmesan. A little bit pricier than other places I’ve eaten, but it was still cheaper than UK prices.

The most vegan options we found on the island - Edit
Not only were there a lot of vegan options on a separate vegan menu, but it was open in low season (early April), the food was exceptionally good and the staff friendly. Would highly recommend (and the skioufihta pasta was the best of the 4 mains I tried, all excellent though!). We found the prices reasonable too.

A great culinary experience - Edit
You definitely get a super culinary experience at Oskars. We had the vegan moussaka, which was extremely tasty. The starters were also very thoughtful and delicious. The vegan dishes can be found in a vegan menu card, which you should ask for. We will definitely come here again on our next visit to Kefalonia.

Foods good just a little expensive - Edit
Had the mushroom and musakka
Read more€9 for the mushroom was very over priced, I doubt there was even 2 large mushrooms.
It did taste good though!
Musakka again was good using soy mince as a meat replacement, rather that just vegetables like other places offer. The bechamel topping was pretty bland.
This main was €13, which although expensive as a treat I could justify it.
Pros: Some vegan option.
Cons: Expensive

Amazing Vegan Options - Edit
5 stars is underrated, if I could add more stars I definitely would. Amazingly delicious dishes, I ordered the vegan spinach niochi, and without exaggerating it was one of the best dishes of my life. It has also a separate vegan menu and the members of staff are very helpful and friendly. One of the owners who was the waiter as well made our day, he has an amazing energy and eagerness to always develop his business. My congratulations to the chef for these amazing tastes, the flavors of the niochi sauce hit my brain hahaha and made me happier 😊😊😊I am looking forward to next year's new menu.
