Tasty - Edit
There is only one vegan option on the menu but it was really flavourful. There is the option to add cold silken tofu to the meal for some protein.

Lovely wholesome food - Edit
Had the vegetarian set. Huge plate of veggies and great price. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a dinner that doesn’t feel heavy.

New price for vegan stir fry is 1000yen. The weird thing about the price is that you pay 100yen extra if your gaijin (the menu says 900yen in Japanese). But the quality and quantity is satisfactory.

Simple, but good value - Edit
I ordered the one veg meal that was available - the stir-fry meal set.
Read moreIn all honesty, the cooked veggies were a little oily for my tastes when I had it. But the friendly staff and affordable price made up for it.
There aren't really many other options in the area, so it definitely beats eating konbini food!

Was served pork - Edit
Nice little place with an English menu. I ordered the vegetable set (which says suitable for vegetarian/vegan on the menu) and also pointed to it on the menu. When the food came it was a pork and vegetable stir fry. I put it down to the language barrier but I was really disappointed to say the least. the rest of the food was really nice so if you come here just make sure to clearly state that you are vegan/vegetarian so that you have a better experience than me!

Great food, both vegan and not - Edit
I'm an omnivore, but my siblings are vegan. All of us had things to eat. I ate a great pork with curry dish, and they had the vegetables set.

Busy place with one excellent vegan option - Edit
This is a 20 seat restaurant (5 x 4 seater tables) that was extremely busy when we got there at 11.40am. The waitress spoke English and clarified with us what we could eat. It's still the same option (veggie set without miso soup) as reviewed earlier for 750Y. It was super delicious and exactly what we needed after eating kombini rice balls for our last meal. When we left there were 7 people in a line out the front, waiting to dine here.

Cons: Fish restaurant (smelled fine though) , One (albeit great) option

Just what I wanted - perfect - Edit
Firstly, the decor here is quirky and personal. A good start. Then there's the generous fried vegetable option! In my top five meals after two weeks in Japan. Simple and oishii! The menu points out the fish in the mizo and I believe they replace it with another little side. Good English and a jug of tea. Time to catch the ferry!

good value! - Edit
I had the stir fry menu.
Read moreYou should order without the Miso soup (there's fish in it, which is described in the menu)
800y for rice, stir fry, salad, pickles, tofu, eggplant.
Everything tasted good.
I'd come back.
