Nice horchata — I think it is, that was my first horchata and I loved it. They also have a few savoury vegan foods — I had the vegan sandwich, and it was good. The market is nice and the restaurant has a great healthy, fresh and vegan range.
From the picture, it looks like this is Casa Orxata, and not Orxateria Daniel... It's easy to be confused as they're a few meters apart from each other in the Colón Market!
We stopped here for the horchata in the lovely market surroundings, and loved it so much we came back the next day. The horchata is labelled vegan and is delicious. Unlike many, it has no added sugar making it much tastier and healthier, sugar was offered for anyone with a sweet tooth! They also had vegan fartons but the person serving us hilariously said that recently they hadn’t been so good so she wouldn’t recommend! The whole menu is labelled for vegans, although there are limited choices. Come here for the horchata and great service😄
Edit October 2023: they have a new updated menu and according to it the furton is not vegan. The horchata still is vegan.
You come here for the horchata, a Valencian drink made with tiger nuts, water and sugar, dip your furton in the horchata and enjoy life. Beautiful location. One of the best horchatas I tried in the city
