$20 veggie plate

Judging their vegan options only, beware. Their vegan menu is 95% vegetarian and only says “can be made vegan” on certain items. Apparently making the shepherd’s pie vegan means you get a $20 plate of grilled veggies. It was absurd. To act like such a nice place, they don’t have a chef that can throw together some vegan mashed potatoes?

Dessert options are sorbet.

Pros: Drinks, Service

Cons: Expensive, More vegetarian than vegan, Incomplete description of vegan items

Vegan Menu

Definitely a nicer choice for a night out with some great vegan options! They even have a vegan menu so make sure to ask. The staff is great and so is the atmosphere.

Lovely option for a nice evening out

We were excited to try Orsay for the first time, as the vegan options sounded wonderful. Our server was helpful and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. There is a good-sized cocktail menu and a lengthy wine list. The entree options didn't entice us as much as the appetizers, so we got an assortment of those instead. The mushroom flatbread and tomato tartare were both excellent, as was the soup du jour of curried potato. The seared tofu scallops were bland and disappointing. The tofu didn't seem to be seasoned at all, in stark contrast to the other tasty offerings. Even some salt and lemon juice would have taken it up several notches, and the addition of some seaweed would have given it ocean flavor. Dessert options were limited, but we tried two of the three offered and enjoyed both: chocolate-covered strawberries and chili-lime sorbet. The service was top-notch; we will definitely go again, though maybe not for a while since we tried most of the items that interested us.

Pros: Atmosphere, Knowledgeable staff, Service

Cons: Somewhat limited options, Bland tofu
