Chicken in my vegan rice bowl even after telling them I'm vegan - Edit
I spoke to the staff at the counter and told them I was vegan, and asked what vegan options they had. I ended up ordering a vegan rice paper roll, and a vegan rice bowl (tofu and veggies). Vegan items are clearly marked on their menu. The rice paper roll came out and was delicious, but then the rice bowl came out, and it looked a bit suspicious... Given that I'd already had a chat with them about being vegan etc, I thought, "no way is this meat"... I am literally the only customer dining in the restaurant. I figured it must be vegan meat, and tested with a small bite.... And YUCK, it didn't taste right, so I spat it out immediately. I then spoke to them at the front counter, and they said "yep it's vegan", so I had to go back and bring the dish up to the counter and show them, and then they realised they had actually served me chicken. They didn't immediately apologise, so just to point out the gravity of the mistake, I said "I'm vegan, and I just ate a piece of this", and although they muttered the word sorry, it seemed completely obligatory and they really did not care at all that they had just served chicken to a vegan customer. They ended up bringing me the correct dish, but I would have expected more of an apology or explanation or something at all that showed they cared about the fact they'd made this mistake. Do not recommend this restaurant for any fellow vegans.

Food and service both excellent. Ask for all the vegan options. Lemongrass tofu was not on the current printed menu but it was actually an available (and very delicious) option.
