Serves meat, vegan options available. Menu is based on seasonal, healthy food and offers gluten free, dairy free and vegan choices. Vegan dishes include vegan creamy mushrooms, coconut quinoa porridge and the full vegan. Additionally there are specials such as vegan chicken waffles, chia pudding and vegan burritos alongside vegan baking and sweet treats, including Real Rad Food slices. Reported closed February 2022.

Lots of options both in the cabinet (wraps, salads, cakes, raw goods, cookies) and a menu with vegan breakfasts and bagels, avocado toast, sandwiches etc. A safe bet to get good vegan food whilst in Petone!

Nice cafe with indoor & outdoor seating options. A reasonable selection of vegan/vege/gf choices on the menus & boards with a few options in the cabinets too.
Read moreStaff were friendly and the service was good. We had the Tofu Scramble & Seitan Reuban Sandwich. Good quality & good flavours with both. Not huge portions but was just right for a lunch meal. Worth a look.

Fairly vegan friendly, and some of their items were quite good and even somewhat creative (e.g., tahini banana smoothie). They aren’t super consistent, though, as I’ve had some items that just weren’t all that tasty. But, still, it’s a very lovely place and a really fits in with the charm of Petone.
