Tofu and chicken on steroids

They let you build your own plate or choose from a large menu. There are plenty of buffet options such as rice, vegan chicken, tofu, and a variety of veggies. Most of them vegan-friendly and full of flavour. A great spot for a tasty, healthy meal!

This Malaysian vegan is obsessed!

As a Malaysian vegan I am highly impressed with this place and filled with joy upon finding it!

I had the Blue Pea Rice dish (which originally comes from my home state of Kelantan). The mushroom curry on the side was well flavoured and the sambal on the side was a bit oily but still tasted authentic. The Ikan Bilis (traditionally fried anchovies) was close to the real deal, peanuts also good and I loved the addition of crispy tempeh bites for added crunch and protein.

Comes with a little extra protein too; two small tofu pieces if you go for the vegan option, or 1 fried egg if veggie (everything else is vegan).

As a Kelantanese though I was slightly disappointed with the rice; I could taste the Blue Pea Flower but would've preferred a stronger aroma, also it didn't seem cooked properly with some rice being sticky and wet, and some grains being brown and overcooked.. :(

Overall though, I would still order again. I like that the portion is filling and there's a good amount of protein.

They have a large menu with lots of variety, urging me to come back!! Just make note that they will microwave the food.

Highly recommended😄

Lots of choice, fast service & tasty

Extensive vegan options - check out the made-to-order meals if you have time (they are still very quick, just not instantaneous like the buffet!). The Nasi Lemak was very tasty and had mock meat, tofu AND tempeh! Could have had more veggies, but that's fairly typical when eating out. No idea why it was called "10 grains" when the only grain was rice!?
The food was hot and fresh, the staff are friendly too.

Pros: Fast, Reasonable price, Good amount of protein

Cons: Food court "ambience"

Five stars until they microwaved one away

The word organic attracted me so I went there to test it. It all looked great until I went to pay and they went to microwave my selection.
The food was decent. I came late and they did not have too many buffet options.

A favorite!

I always struggle between choosing between this stall and the other veggie one in Pavillion, but I like that this one has organic food and loads of choice! Point to anything you want to add to your rice. Be sure to ask them to microwave it for you, because once they cook it they just put in trays and some dishes cool off a bit too much to my liking.

2024.3.9 dinner

Blue Pea 10-Grain Nasi Lemak tastes good, but the portion is not enough for me.

Bad choice?

There were many clearly marked vegan options on the menu and I ordered a claypot organic yee mee soup. Maybe it was just a bad choice, but I was very disappointed. It didn't taste much and there were only two tiny slices of tofu in the whole pot. Would go back again though, to see if their other things are better!

Great food court option

There are two options in this food court and this one has a much more extensive menu, along with a buffet option. Most of the menu is vegan and the vegetarian options than can be veganised are labelled as such. I ordered the assam laksa which was a great balance of spicy and sour/tangy.

Delicious food, lots of variety, many vegan options

Happy that there are affordable vegan meals at the Food Republic food court at Pavilion KL. This is on Level 1. Look for the Teppanyaki stall, this is next to it.

There's lots of variety in the menu. You can choose the mixed rice set, or individual plates. There's appetizers, rice and noodles.

All vegan options are clearly marked and the majority of dishes are vegan.

No MSG is used. They use Himalayan pink salt. And rice dishes can be made with multigrain rice.

Food was delicious!

Pros: Tasty vegan dishes, Large menu, Affordable

Cons: Might be noisy at the food court
