Small but good local market

This market is quite small but offers fresh fruit and veg sold by local producers. Between the fountain and the train station is a stall that sells vegan breakfast/lunch - home-made Middle Eastern food that tastes great! Run by a very friendly couple, they also sell hommus and other spreads as take away.

Pros: Fresh fruit and veg, Great Middle Eastern take away food

Food and farmers market in Hornsby

Good place to do your weekly grocery shopping. There are a range of organic and conventional fruit and vegetable stalls. There are bread stalls, with lots of vegan bread choices. There is a vegan food stall called Good Earth Kitchen which is 100% vegan selling a range of savoury and sweet foods. There is a raw vegan chocolate stall called Girl Made Chocolate. There are a few other food stalls which have some vegan options.

Pros: vegan food stall, vegan chocolate stall, organic fruits and vegetables

Your average food markets

There are many fruit and vegetable stores one of which is organic, they have a few gluten free bread, muffin, cakes etc stores, & there is one store that the owners will tell you which bread is vegan called braisserie bread. There is also a herb & plant store. A jam and chutney store, with eucalyptus moisterisers etc. A dried fruit and nut store which have alot of variety & quite cheap.

Pros: Good fruit & vegetables
