Lovely, friendly cafe - Edit
We were just passing through Oxford and were lucky enough to spot this place hidden down an alleyway. They have a lot of vegan options, including the delicious vegan breakfast, which has some unusual and tasty elements such as fried potatoes, roasted veg & falafel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place has a nice cosy atmosphere. Will definitely be back when I next visit Oxford.

Nice cafe with some vegan options - Edit
Nice cafe with lots of seating, they ran out of brown bread and the white bread had dairy in it, but they had falafel salad. The salad was nice, but only three falafel balls! The chocolate cake was good, with a slight taste of banana, the fruit cake was good as well.

Delicious vegan breakfast - Edit
This cafe is tucked away in a quiet alleyway (Friar's Entry) and was a great find. There were several vegan options - we had the vegan breakfast which was well presented, good value and an interesting selection including my favourite falafel. The staff were delightful and helpful and we left with vegan apple cinnamon cake and chocolate brownie for later. What a deal! We were just visiting Oxford for the day so are unlikely to pay a return visit but if we lived locally we would most definitely be regulars.

Shame it's not 100% vegan! - Edit
Really lovely spot for lunch. Had the tofu scramble and an iced coffee, vegan options aren't labelled but are easy to ask about, staff were friendly and the place was really nice in general.

great breakfast - Edit
Really nice place with good food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. I had the vegan breakfast and highly recommend it (comes with good bread and vegan butter, good mix of roasted veg). I also took a smoothie which unfortunately had a lot of plastic packaging around it even though I was eating in.

You NEED to come here! Not only is the atmosphere amazing for studying, friends, even dating, but they have vegan chocolate cake, TOFU SCRAMBLE, full vegan breakfast, matcha latte etc I can't even.

Great location - Edit
Really handy central location. We were warned that the kitchen was busy and that food may be a while but it wasn't as long as expected and we were pleased to get in out of the rain. I enjoyed a toasted hummus and falafel sandwich which came with a salad garnish. There was one other vegan sandwich (or you can request variations, the staff were helpful and friendly), salads and jackets plus vegan cooked breakfast. Several vegan cakes as well.

Cons: Omni, Soya milk tax (+50p for soya in your tea/coffee)

Tasty, organic, vegan. - Edit
I was there only one time and I want to taste more. My vegan falafels with hummus were very tasty but I had to wait too long. I hope that next time I will get a little faster my meal and I think thaht portions should be bigger. Anyway, I can recommend it to you ;)

Nice place, with good vegan options - Edit
Like the review below me says, as far as main meals go, it seems like the only vegan option is a falafel and houmous toastie. But also like the review below me says, it's pretty incredible. The veggie breakfast is also vegan, and is fairly good.
Read moreThey also do vegan flapjacks and other sweet things, and sell a few grocery items. And the staff are very nice.
Pros: Falafel and houmous toastie is great
Cons: Only one or two vegan options

Vegan-friendly cafe - Edit
This cafe is very vegan-friendly, with a vegan breakfast and other lunch options like jacket potatoes, salads, and sandwiches. For gluten-free vegetarians, there are even more options. My favourite lunch is a jacket potato with hummus and roasted veggies (trust me, it's really good!). The cafe also offers lots of different non-milk options, such as soy, rice, almond and oat. It also sells some groceries, including flours, dried goods, and teas. The owner is really friendly and helpful for explaining what is and/or can be made vegan. The cafe was recently refurbished and there's a nice seating area upstairs.
Read moreThe downside is that with a small kitchen and limited number of staff, the service can be slow if the cafe is busy. It's best to go here if you have time to sit and do some work while waiting for your food. Free wifi is available.

Good vegan choice in central Oxford - Edit
I've visited the Organic Deli Cafe a couple of times recently and will be there again soon. I had their vegan breakfast one time which proved to be a healthy and tasty version if a little unusual with sausage, roast Mediterranean veg, mushrooms and some of their excellent artisan bread. They had soya milk in for tea. Today I had coffee and 1 of 3 clearly marked choices of vegan cake, my friend had tea and while they had run out of soya milk they were able to offer rice milk instead.

Cons: Can get over busy and a bit chaotic
