Stock up on lots of organic healthy food

Wonderful selection of dried fruits, nuts, grains, coffee, tea, chocolate

Pros: Great selection, Super nice and helpful staff

Better double-check for vegan products

The shop itself has a good assortment, very rare here in Ecuador.
They also have baked items by a local panaderia. I asked if two kinds of cookies were vegan and the shop assistant said yes. Only later did I see that one pack of cookies contained eggs and the other one didn't even have the ingredients on it. When I went back to the shop it turned out they weren't vegan either.
I got my money back without problems but in a shop like that the staff should be more knowledgeable.

Pros: Great choice

Cons: Hard to trust products without labels, Parts of staff unaware of veganism

Great shop

Lots of seeds, nuts, chocolate to pick n mix. All organic. Lots of snacks available too. Owner is really friendly, great little shop!

Small shop with lots of organic produce

I visited this shop as it was only round the corner from our hostel and it had a good range of nuts and snacks available, including the usual health food store sort of produce. They do sell honey and eggs, but no meat.

Pros: Lots of healthy food store type produce available.

small shop with lots of stuff

Small shop owned by a nice lady. Has a lot of natural unpackaged stuff all is organic. I bought some walnuts, which turned out quite cheap. I could have bought more, but I was on my way to the bus, when I discovered this little gem. Unfortunately has also honey products, so one has to keep the eyes open when buying energy bars.

Pros: all organic, unpacked

Cons: also honey
