This cafe is located under Yatsugatake mountains, Yamanashi. All dishes are with local fresh organic vegetable. Dishes are based on the macrobiotic cooking. Superb 💚 - Edit
I loved it so so much! The food was so delicious! Everything is also organic and sugar free. We bought at the vegan bakery next to the restaurant a super delicious bread with nuts and rasins, anko bread and doughnut!

Bad luck? - Edit
The restaurant opens at 11 and by the time we arrived at 12 we got told “sorry we cannot make any more of anything” inspite of many available seats so we were not allowed to order anything at all.

We did go to the Gopan bakery next door instead (owned by the same people) and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to the register. In the meantime several other couples arrived and left, since no one was there to help.
On the one hand while we didn’t have a very good experience, most of the items we did buy from the bakery were good!
The kische in particular was delicious. The apple & potato pie tasted like it had gone stale a while back, but if you can find it fresh I am sure it would be fantastic.
Pros: Good selection, The bakery next door is a nice addition
Cons: Apparently runs out of “everything” quite quickly, Very hard to get service at the bakery

Gem on the mountain offering take-out bento - Edit
Friendly family-owned restaurant that clearly takes pride in serving delicious and healthy meals. Entirely vegan menu advertises natural ingredients without added sugars. They spoke English and were happy to arrange us some bento box for carry out, with a couple different options. Mains were tofu & soba hamburg and a seitan croquette. Both were excellent as were the various sides. Brown rice.
