Gostei - Edit

Sim claro.
Se voltarei? De certeza.

Delicious food in a nice surrounding - Edit

We came here twice after the meal on the first day was superb and totally wowed us. The staff is friendly and speaks fluent English.

Meals come with salad, vegetables and the two vegan options for the day. Everything is vegan except for the two fish dishes they offer. One day we had "Braised Tofu" and "Tofu-Olive Burger". The other day it was a "Bean stew" and "Seitan Steaks". Dessert is tasting amazing as well.

Totally recommend! Try sitting outside if it's not too cold since the atmosphere is amazing.

Pros: Gorumet-style cooking. , Different meals everyday.

Gourmet vegan food, great service - Edit

We stumbled across this place whilst lazily walking. The name made me think they would have vegan options and they did. When we arrived at about 12:30 We were the only ones sat outside, by 1:15 it was full and people were waiting, so if you can book please do. The staff we very friendly with impeccable English. The food was really really delicious, gourmet style vegan, which is rare. It's a shame it wasn't open Mondays otherwise we would have gone back on our second day!

Nice elegant dinner - Edit

The place is very nice and the staff is super friendly. Just in the center of Lisbon so perfect location. I went there to have a dinner and tried tofu dish of the day. The tofu was a bit too salty, but overall the dish was ok, however I expected a wow factor..

What was actually interesting was a cheesecake. The white 'cheese' layer which was completely tasteless, was made of a non diary milk with agar, but the upper layer and lower cake layer made a great composition all together. Very interesting vegan cake. Try but have an open mind;)

It is more an elegant décor, so if you feel like a nice dinner try it. They change the menu quite often. I would love to try other cakes as it seems they are different than anywhere else.

Pros: interesting cheesecake, super friendly staff, perfect location

Cons: main dish was only ok

Excellent - Edit

Excellent friendly service, the waiter explained everything about the restaurant and was very attentive. Has a daily menu and everything is vegan except for a fish main course. I had braised tofu which came with an amazing salad and was just how tofu should be cooked, nothing soggy and bland here. Shared some pate, olives and bread to start and a cheesecake which had a strange jelly like consistency, but was tasty nonetheless. Had a nice outside terrace on a quiet back street near the centre of town. Would return.

Pros: Mainly vegan, tasty and fresh food, Nice location, Lovely waiter

Cons: Serves fish

Good group dinner - Edit

We were a group of 12 people, which made things a bit more difficult to manage at times. In any case, our experience at Organi Chiado was positive.

The menu changes daily, meaning you'll hardly repeat any dishes even if you go there often. We had a three-mushroom main (tasty, balanced) and another with seitan (too salty and a bit greasy). Both were served with salad, veggies and a type of grain.

Ah, their bread (using rice flour, we've heard) is very very good!

Prices were very affordable (€9-10 for mains).

Staff wasn't always great, but made up for some inefficiencies with kindness and a smile.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and located in a noble area of the city.

Pros: Location, Price, Good for groups

Cons: Some dishes aren't great, Staff a bit inconsistent

Clean&comfy food - Edit

The staff was so friendly and made us feel very welcome! They were really proud of the fact, that the food was organiq and local. Some of it even came from a family farm nearby.

The starters was brown rice-bread with 3 kind of spreads. The most delicious dish on the menu, imo.

They also offered a carrot/coconut soup

The main dish of the day, was chickpea/brown rise/vegetables. It was healthy and comfy.

Pros: The fact that the staff was so nice and that we we

As healthy as it gets here in Lisbon - Edit

I really enjoyed this place! The staff were were very knowledgeable on what healthy actually is. They don't use dairy, refined sugars, and certain meats. Come by around 12:30 pm for lunch and get their "rice bread" with their homemade pate along with very well season olives! Not canned obviously like other ALL vegan places I've been to. I ordered the juice of the day which was good just a little chunky. The soup was a mixed veggie light soup. The plate of the day was sautéed melt in your mouth mushrooms, baked sweet potato, bulgar wheat with some tiny pieces of butternut squash , and a nice side of green with cashews and a light green white dressing. I'm so happy to have found a place that does not use soy and seitan to substitute meat. I will definitely be back maybe also for dinner.

Pros: soy free options , knowledgeable owners and staff , rice bread, pate, and olives

Cons: none

Tasty vegan dishes made with local and high quality ingredients - Edit

Although not a vegetarian restaurant, Organi Chiado always has at least a tasty vegan dish and delicious vegan desserts available, made with local and high quality ingredients.

The location of the restaurant is truly excellent, only a minute away from the Baixa / Chiado metro station, and the atmosphere is both cozy and amiably sophisticated.

The owners of the restaurant are very attentive to feedback from the customers and are considering turning the restaurant to vegan. They commented that they are having success in acquainting non vegetarians to vegan cuisine as some regular customers decided to try the vegan dishes and were surprised by how good and tasty they are.

Pros: Excellent location, Tasty vegan food, Local, high quality ingredients
