I needed an iced americano and a delicious greasy hangover breakfast sandwich and the Bowery on a croissant did not disappoint. They also have a really nice selection of vegan alternatives / snacks. Will be back

Such a great place to stop for a quick vegan meal on the Lower East Side! I can never decide what to get because it all looks so good but I got the breakfast burrito this last time. Orchard St is pretty quiet, so if it's a nice day I would suggest sitting outside. It's great place to stop before/after visiting the Tenement Museum, too. They also have a nice selection of vegan specialty groceries -- I got some cheddar from a brand I hadn't seen before and really enjoyed it! Service was friendly and quick!

A good vegan Rueben is hard to find. There are many tasty ones but they aren’t quite Ruebens. Orchard has one. Go get one. And soft serve ice cream! I had mine for breakfast.

The first time I came here I got their lox bagel sandwich, but the lox was very sweet and I didn’t like it at all. My partner tried the Bowery sandwich and had a much better experience. I’ve since been back and tried the Miles, which I liked a lot more. I also like to come here for their selection of vegan groceries. This place is s neighborhood gem. ❤️

Finally Tracked Down the RIND Blue Cheese 🧀 - Edit
Loved finding the RIND blue cheese here since it’s been completely sold out online for a while. The store had a good selection of vegan products, snacks, cheeses, and prepared foods. It’s also connected to MooShoes, which was really cool since you can browse vegan shoes and groceries all in one stop. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area!

No trip to NYC is complete without a pilgrimage here, and as usual, it didn’t disappoint! The Bowery sandwich made a fantastic breakfast and the mac and cheese made a great snack for later. Next trip I will bring ice packs so I can stock up on more grocery items!

The food is so flavorful; it’s taken me too long to come here! My food was delicious and hot. The only con I’d say would be the portions are a tad small. I really appreciate the restaurant/vegan market and would definitely come back to try more of their menu

In a 5 day trip, we visited here 3 times !!So so good and they sell loads of items in there as well such as crisps, sweets and chocolate, they do have a fridge and freezer section if you are a local. Definitely the best breakfast you will get in New York. Small seating area so you can eat in.

This place was behind our hotel we stayed in for a few days while in NYC and I think I went there every day. They have a great selection of vegan snacks but it's quite pricey. Loved their sandwiches though. Proper comfort food.

Vegan Sandwiches in different variations. They offer sandwiches on Rolls, Bagels, on a Croissant or a Hero. Many different toppings with alternatives for meat, cheese and egg. We came there two times because it was so good! They have also some sweet items like donuts, croissants and cookies, and a small shop offering vegan groceries. Definitely the best vegan sandwiches I had in New York!

Hands down my fav place to visit in NYC!! The Monty is one of the yummies Sammy’s I’ve ever had! My non vegan partner has ranked it in their top 10 favorite sandwiches and I’d call that a win! Pastries are amazing and grocery selections are great! So many fun new things to try here!
