The food was tasty, but the menu is a bit limited and the sides are lacking. I got a salad, which is priced as a full meal, as a side. It was tasty, but small.

Read moreThere’s a lot of vegan options here, but there’s no labeling of which items are vegan are which are vegetarian. It can be difficult to tell if one is using real cheese or mayo or dairy in the sauces, and just because the meat substitute or other part is vegan doesn’t mean the rest is. You’ll have to ask the staff, which means you’re dependent on either having good Russian fluency or hoping the staff member is English fluent. Luckily during my visits so far they have been English speaking and both pleasant and helpful so that’s a big plus.
Vegan shawarma and seitan wrap is good but not incredible, however it’s a solid buy for the price. The chimichurri burger is good with an absolutely excellent chinichurri sauce I could eat a whole bottle of, but at 120uah it’s quite expensive for a takeaway restaurant, especially considering how small it is. It’s not much bigger than the size of my palm, I’d have to order two to be anywhere near full. A shame, because like I said, that chimichurri sauce is killer.
Super cool look inside too, with the square subway tile top to bottom all lined up. Thoughtfully designed bags reflect the tile grid motif, and packaging so far all seems to be paper based and avoids plastics, which can’t be said for some of the other vegan establishments I’ve visited in Kyiv.
Overall a really solid choice I recommend checking out and I plan on returning to try the rest of the vegan options.

Ideal for Small Meal - Edit
The food was real tasty and the staff friendly. The location looks, particularly the bathroom, and the sandwhiches are definitely both delicious and creative. Also the wide selection of Fritz Kola is a big plus for an Austrian traveller.

Best vegan/vegetarian sandwiches in Kiev - Edit
Had all vegan positions they have and can say those sandwiches and wraps are the best in Kiev so far. Fruit combinations in smoothies are also great, my favorites are grapefruit pineapple and orange basil.

My favorite vegetarian spot in Kyiv. I eat there at least once a week and of course I've tried everything they serve. Love the food, the atmosphere, and their style. Don't forget to take selfie in the green zone there :)

This little to-go shop has about half of their menu as vegan options but you need to ask to confirm what's vegan. They have a couple seats to eat if you prefer not to take food away. Their sandwiches were alright and they had green smoothies which were good. They also had a couple vegan desserts.
