Lovely place with several vegan choices - Edit
We went to Van Dykes for our wedding anniversary, choosing to try their Orangery Restaurant (there are several other dining options in the hotel complex). The place was really beautiful, and the service was fast and polite. I totally forgot to take photos of our very tasty vegan starts (focaccia with herb oil and aged balsamic, and marinated olives) but remembered with the rest of the meal. I really enjoyed the vegan stirfry with smoked tofu, and my husband loved his vegan onion tarte tatin, which came with lots of seasonal veg and some vegan marscapone. For some reason they don't list their vegan desserts on their online menu, but they do have some. They have a sticky toffee pudding which sounded great but the weather was very hot so we opted to try the sorbets instead. We had rhubarb and coconut, both delicious. They also had a raspberry sorbet but we didn't try that one. I'd definitely go again for a special occasion.
