Never found it open during its Happy Cow advertised opening hours so wouldn’t know if good or not!
Read moreSecond time I’ve driven over from St Ives to especially visit here as completely vegan and stated “ open now” and yet again closed!
Please alter your advertised hours so others don’t waste the journey.
On the plus side as usual ended up in the harbour front deli who looked after us very well. Vegan hot choc & cream , choice of cakes and meals. Easier just to plan to go there.
A real shame as like to support fully vegan businesses ……..

I wouks recommend messaging them next time to check, they have been very responsive when I've needed to ask something. Their food is sooooo good too.

Delicious small plates lunch - Edit
My wife and I had a delicious vegan lunch on a wet Sunday afternoon - the fourth time we we've visited in the past year. The style was small plates as they hadn't yet started Sunday roasts for autumn/winter. The tofu taco and buffalo cauliflower especially were amazing. Excellent range of drinks, especially the butterfly pea latte! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Wow! A dream cafe for this Vegan! - Edit
After 20+ mile bike ride, ok e-bike ride, but still, my reward was Orange Cafe. I got a smoked tofu sandwich with fries and two desserts, a chocolate cake and a lemon or orange tart, can’t remember anything else but it was citrusy and good…….I also had a lovely cup of tea. Because of the gardens and the cat, I didn’t get any food photos—everything was presented wonderfully!

Cons: I live in the states and can’t go here regularly, I didn’t get to meet the owners to say thank you….

Fantastic vegan cafe - Edit
Been here 5 times now & we specifically come to this area of Cornwall for their food at Orange. It's a beautiful little cafe, with interesting decor, a gorgeous naturally shaped wood table, window seats with a sea view, a resident cat too. Food is excellent - we've tried almost everything on the menu & have been for breakfast, lunch, dinner, cakes! Staff are really friendly too.

Quite good but quite expensive - Edit
We were there at noon on a bank holiday, they still had a table for us. The staff were super friendly and service was quick. Nice atmosphere. They were offering only small dishes. We had the jackfruit taco and the potato salad, both were ok. The prices were way too high for the size of the dishes.
Read moreEdited: Two days later they had another menu with larger dishes where the price/value was better.
We had the burger and a bowl.
Five stars now.

Outstanding - Edit
We have eaten here several times and had a fabulous tasty meal every time. I've tried several different mains from the menu (which changes from time to time which makes is even better) and all were top notch. Puddings are very imaginative and delicious. All of this in a really nice characterful building nicely decorated with some sea views. The owner and people that work here are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I honestly can't fault Orange!

Just wow! - Edit
This place is an absolute gem. Unfortunately it does not show up when searching Happy Cow for vegan places specifically in Mousehole (seems to be a glitch in the Happy Cow system) so we didn’t realise it existed until we were walking around the streets and stumbled across it! Best stumble ever….
Read moreThe food is incredible. So well made and such attention to detail in presentation. First visit the four of us had Phish and Chips, Noodles, Miso Aubergine and Kentucky Fried Mushroom burger. The portions were very generous that we could not manage dessert.
Next day we came back for them instead. The most incredible cheesecake and a wonderful hot chocolate fudge cake.
Another visit for breakfasts included a full english style, an aubergine shakshouka and the best cream tea you can imagine. You wouldn’t know it was vegan if you were given it blind.
What’s incredible is that almost everything is prepared fresh by the owner - a lovely lady who runs the place with her daughter on front of house. The two of them and all of the rest of the staff we met were all so friendly and welcoming. The view was great, both sat inside and out. The house cat, Kahlua was happy to accommodate our dog. The drinks were great - some fantastic coffees, hot chocolates, kombuchas, smoothies.
We tried as much as we could over 5 visits during our week long holiday and there isn’t a single negative thing we can say. In fact, my father-in-law who is as far from vegan as you can imagine was as happy as any of the rest of us to eat there, such was the quality of the food and service.
Mousehole is a beautiful place to visit and Orange is its piece de resistance. Just wish we lived closer to be able to enjoy it more often!
Pros: Incredible food: taste, presentation, portions., Warm, welcoming staff., Loads of drinks options
Cons: Genuinely nothing

Great food - Edit
Very pleasantly surprised to find this place (via Happy Cow of course!) in the tiny village of Mousehole. It was only 20 minutes ish on the bus from where we were staying in Penzance. We had lunch and then went for a walk around the village and harbour before going back for tea and cake. Would definitely visit again.

Great place for a drink and/or bite to eat - Edit
We visited on a busy bank holiday Sunday in May and they struggled a bit to keep up, but otherwise the food was good - we sat outside and had tapas. Major bonus was that most items on the tapas menu were gluten free (all except the flatbread and mushroom wings) so it suited us as my daughter is coeliac.

Good little cafe, with live music on Sundays! - Edit
Tasty food - they have multiple menus available, we went twice (one breakfast menu, one tapas menu). They do cream teas, which weren't on either menu - but I highly recommend just asking for it, it was delicious!
Read moreFor breakfast, we had the shakshuka (delicious) and cream tea (delicious scones, though the cream was more like slightly whipped single cream than clotted cream). For tapas, the mushroom wings, phish tacos, bravas potatoes, and fries were all delicious - though the Asian tofu skewers didn't really have much peanut sauce and were a bit bland. But overall, really lovely food. Got a lemon slice and coffee and walnut muffin to take away, too, which were delicious!
Really friendly and positive staff, and there was some live music on the Sunday afternoon we went!
Pros: Delicious food (including vegan cream teas!), Live music, Nice decor

Unexpected Find - Edit
For some reason, I hadn't spotted this on Happy Cow and we entered the cafe not expecting a vegan place. Was lovely to discover it was. We had the carrot and coriander soup and loaded hummus dishes for a light lunch. Delicious! Also bought chocolate orange muffin and maple walnut flapjack to take away. An inventive menu and lots of vegan cakes. Plan to go back for an evening meal...

Superb vegan, dog friendly restaurant in Mousehole - Edit
what a lucky find! we stumbled on the Orange Bar when we needed a drink and were delighted to find that it's fully vegan. The menu was original and interesting and turned out to be absolutely delicious. As well as being vegan, it's also dog friendly, which made it perfect. We think they'll soon need to squeeze some more tables in as we think it'll be a fantastic success.

Absolutely delicious lunch at Orange cafe last week
Read moreI've been wanting to visit since the doors opened to check out the newest vegan spot in Cornwall and I am so glad I waited for a beautiful day ☀️ Very hungry after the Sculpture Gardens
We both had the Battered Nori Banana Blossom Sandwich with tartare sauce, crushed peas & mint and rocket - I've never had such light banana blossom - perfectly battered and the ciabatta was soft and warm
For sides we had Mushroom Wings - So tasty and moreish
Tempura Vegetables - The freshest and crunchiest veggies
Obviously we also got rosemary fries
Accompanied by Polgoon cider
There were so many lovely looking cakes and there was a chocolate mousse on the menu but there wasn't much room with all those mushrooms 🍄😅🍄
I would highly recommend this place, cute as a button, fits in so beautifully and does some
thing a bit different
(I'll be back for the mousse)
Pros: Different/unique menu, So fresh , Gorgeous space
