Too expensive, too small portions - Edit
Apparently they have special prices for weekends which are much higher than their already not so low regular ones. The autumn bowl was pretty small, got a tiny bowl of mashed potatoes and two popcorn next to it for some reason, and there were some olive pits in the salad.. Not worth 1750 yen.

I had the fried soy meat bowl and a falafel pita and boy did they both hit the spot. The falafel was some of the best I’ve ever had. Super crisp on the outside and moist on the inside with some really nice flavours. The soy meat bowl was exactly that, generous serving of fried soy meat with some fresh veggies to compliment it along with home made hummus which was delish. I don’t expect much from plant based milky coffee in Japan but unfortunately the oat latte was pretty bad. Tasted like instant coffee with a dash of milk which is fine, but when you’re charging 650¥ for an “oat latte” I expect a lot more.

Sausage felt like it was not cooked (stringy seitan). Potatoes in tofu scramble were very firm still. Toast wasn’t toasted. Jura coffee machine rather than manual machine so grabbed a coffee at Moto coffee a little bit down the road.

Poor service, we turned up starving, teatime, yesterday. We were going to be turned away at half four pm, place ought to be open til 6. We got allowed in , ate, and left . Food nice and unhealthy, vegan nuggets on pitta. Tasty indeed. Today we were there again, turned away after three pm. Never again thanks, never again.

We came here on a day trip to Osaka and loved it! It's so great that you can sit outside on the terrace with a view over the river. The food was super tasty, perfectly sized serving and not expensive, too. The Café looked lovely, the staff was really kind, we recomend the Optomus Cafe and will definitely come again! ☀️🌱

I love brunch food, so this place really hit the spot. Not only that, but the outdoor sitting is a great experience. Friend had the French toast, I had the Nice Day meal. Both were great! Highly recommend it.

The view over the river is lovely. The food is also great but was a little disappointed that the prices jump up almost 50% on the weekends… I get it but I’m also not a fan of such pricing.
Read moreAll the portions are a little on the small side for me but only just. The summer bowl and Optimus bowl were excellent but I found the fried soy bowl a little disappointing.
I returned today for the hiked up prices and had the fried soy bowl. The soy “meat” was really spongy and greasy and there wasn’t enough freshness in the rest of the bowl to counteract it.
Other than the fried soy bowl though I’d definitely recommend this place for a light lunch.
