Industrial Dining - Edit

This place is located in an old warehouse or some other past industrial facility. The cool thing is that although it is a large spacious room with a high ceiling, it feels cozy and warm. The atmosphere is great!

So is the food and the drinks. Although the portions could have been a bit bigger, it was delicious. The dessert - crème brûlée - was the perfect finish. You can also choose from a variety of home-brewed or imported craft beers.

Great food, large selection of craft beer - Edit

The food was great! We had lasagna and appetizers and.. oh I don't remember but they were all very nicely presented and delicious. The menu changes in season and every time it is creative!

I don't really drink beer but had to try some of their craft beer and I really liked them. The place being an old factory-ish and with beer brewing happening right there.. is also a great atmosphere.

Pros: tasty food, nice vibe. cool place, super friendly ppl

Cons: ??

Beer and vegan food! - Edit

I really like Oproer! I went here with my meat eating family and they all liked it. The food was really great, but it is quite expensive. I really really liked the atmosphere, it is in an old warehouse and you see were they brew their own beer! So nice!

Pros: They brew their own beer, Excellent food, Nice atmosphere and staff

Cons: Expensive

Very nice food - Edit

Just had a main course here, and tried many beers ofcourse! My food was really good, obviously made with care, and some great flavors that really complemented eachother. Well done. Though the portion could have been slightly bigger. If the menu for example says 'side-salad' and you get two stems of some herbs with half a spoon of pommegranate that's not salad but a little bit of garnish.

Service was friendly too, and the food arrived quite fast. Prices were decent considering the food is organic, but not especially cheap for an industrial location. Will visit again for sure.

Update: went again in October, and I did like this meno a bit more, as the portions were a bit bigger and the taste still great! They also are getting more and more beers on tap, I can't wait to go back again.

How a (vegan) restaurant needs to be! - Edit

The atmosphere is amazing. Located in a brewery, it has this vintage, hip and creative appeal. The food is like you want it to be. It is food to convince meat-eaters that good food can be animal-free. I have no bad word to say about this place, it is perfect.

Pros: Good food, Vegan, Nice location, ambiance and interior, Good service

Cons: More tables, so more people can enjoy dining here

Not great... - Edit

I wanted to eat here for a long time, and yesterday me and boyfriend finally did it. Since I'm pregnant I wasn't able to taste the beers, but according to my bf they were great.

The food however, was not that great at all. We had the 'snack plank' and were a little disappointed that this starter existed out of all the stereotypical vegan things such as hummus, cucumber, celery and carrots.. Not surprising!

For the main course, we had the Parelduiker, it was nice, but not great. The burger was not crunchy and the side dishes existed out of mostly celery and carrots again.. Some fries or something would have been nice... I think the food was overpriced, after a starter and a main course we weren't satisfied at all but it did cost us a lot of money!

Also, one of the people who worked there changing clothes in front of the visitors made it a little weird too.

Pros: Beers, Completely vegan

Cons: The food , Expensive (Overpriced)

home brewed beer and vegan food - Edit

Entirely vegan restaurant, pub and brewery. They make their own beer on side, which is great, and everything is vegan, which is the best.

I liked the food, it's not high-quality gastronomic, but just the kind of food you expect at a pub :)

When I visited there the place had just opened less than a week ago and the huge location was still a little plain/undecorated and it was a little cold, but my guess is they've changed that by now. Will visit again to find out!

Pros: everything is vegan, home brewed beer, great atmosphere

Cons: location was a little chilly (but they may have ch

Good food, great beer, grungy atmosphere - Edit

Great new addition to Utrecht. The food is tasty, but portions are somewhat on the small side. Which isn't all bad, cause that leaves plenty of room to try more of their craft beers ;) Also: location is not in the city centre, but very accessable due to the train station next door. And don't forget to check out the local bands in dB's next door.
