Good food

Nice local pub, with lots of seating and a good selection of food and drink. There were at least 2 vegan options on the menu. I had a bean and pepper burrito, which was delicious. My husband had the plant burger which he enjoyed.

Pros: Tasty food and generous portions

Cons: The wine wasn't that nice and was expensive

Decent Sunday Roast

I have to confess to being slightly put off by the exterior - I felt it just looked run down! However we went in and found it super cool!

I had the nut roast and oh had the seitan. Both very tasty. Lots of yummy veg including red cabbage and green cabbage (my fav) and vegan yorkies. We also added a large cauliflower cheese. The portions were generous.

I liked that the staff asked whether we wanted the vegetarian or vegan option.

We stopped in on the off chance just after 12 and were lucky to get a table so I’d def book in the future.

Parking was annoying as it’s largely permit 7 days a week with the odd pay and display section. When returning I’d get the train as the pub is right next to the station.

We were too full for desserts but from what I remember there were a good few options including sticky toffee and a crumble.

Pros: Good vegan options , Reasonable price, Funky vibe and lovely staff

Cons: No free parking

Perfect Sunday Roast

One of the best roasts I've ever eaten! They even included vegan yorkshire puds. The pub also has a giant outdoor seating area that allows dogs. Didn't get to try their normal menu but the vegan club sandwich looked really good.

Pros: Nice staff, Loads of vegan options
