This cafe is small and made for take away. I wanted to try it even though the train station was closer to me because it didn't have any reviews yet.
They had a selection of pastries but nothing was labeled. Luckily the man running the shop this morning spoke English. I asked if anything was vegan and he said yes and showed me 2 types of croissants. One was almond and had some sort of sweet almond filling. I love almond flavored sweets so I had to get that. The other one was filled with fruit flavors. You could pick apricot, orange, or red berries. I chose apricot because I also love those.
I got them back to my hotel and both are sweet and delicious. They are flaky and fall apart. I'm still skeptical that they are vegan because I just had to take the guy's word for it since there were no signs. I am also unfamiliar with Italian pastries so it is possible they are a naturally vegan recipe and I am ignorant.
Anyway I gave it 3 stars only because nothing was labeled. They tasted good and the person working there was friendly. If you are close by it is a great place to get a coffee and a vegan croissant.
