Lovely vegan bakery - Edit
We had to take a short walk to get to this vegan bakery, but it was worth it. A very sweet lady was working at the counter. We tried the strawberry–lemon muffin, the Ferrero Rocher cookie, and the red velvet cookie.
Read moreEverything was really tasty. Not too sweet or greasy. The cookies aren’t crispy but more cake-like. The Ferrero Rocher cookie was especially good, with a delicious chocolate filling inside!
I also wanted to try the bread, but they didn’t have any today. So that’s a reason to come back!

Large selection of baked goods - Edit
There were many different options to choose from. I decided for a mugwort cake with red bean paste and sesame with hazelnut latte. I also got two tiny cakes with pecan maple syrup and sesame for take away. Delicious but very sweet! Definitely worth a visit. It’s also the only vegan bakery/cafe in Gyeongju so it is good to support them!

Most incredible vegan bakery! - Edit
Best vegan bakery we have ever been to! We had the tiramisu cookie and the strawberry crumble muffin and both were to die for! Also the hazelnut ice latte is such a treat on a warm day. Thank you so much for your hard work and for giving us such an amazing vegan option!

Fair vegan bakery - Edit
Vegan bakery with a small seating inside
Read moreWas the only customer so I could sit in
Only a bench to sit on
Selection was huge so it took a while to decide what to order
They had three cakes when I was there
Chocolate, raw berry and mugwort sesame red bean. I went with mugwort red bean mugwort 8.500 plus salt bread 2 pcs is minimum. But they’re small so it’s ok
I wouldn’t say it was something to write about. The salt bread was ok but in comparison to the one in Seoul disappointing. The melted vegan butter inside was the best thing.
The cake was heavy and too dense. If you tried vegan cakes in Korea you sometimes stumble across these cakes 😄
It wasn’t too sweet so that was good
I would probably go for something else or skip this place - it wasn’t bad but also wasn’t a must visit! Just to be honest and direct
Also quite expensive cause for the same price you can get amazing cakes back in Seoul
Pros: Fully vegan
Cons: Wasn’t great

Check NAVER for hours - Edit
The opening hours changed 3 times in one day lol, but at least she keeps us updated! I got a few things for takeaway to eat the next couple of days. The salt bread is really good, and so is the carrot cake scone(?), not sure what it was. Mixture between scone and cookie. Scookie. The strawberry cheesecake was not my favorite however.

Delicious desserts - Edit
A petite bakery that was well signed with the ingredient lists e.g gluten free, nut free etc.
Read moreWe had matcha lattes (which were great) tiramisu and ferrero rocher cookies. The cookies had a great texture and were not too sweet.
We took away a slice of mugwort & red bean cake, and a chestnut & sweet potato slice. Everything tasted wonderful.
The menu is available in Korean & English. Definitely recommend.

Very good cakes and drinks - Edit
Went there on purpose since I read it was so good.
Read moreHad the Anko cake and the tiramisu cookie. The cookie was okeish but the cake was suprinsingly good! Never had that combination of flavours and wanted to try it out. Recommended if you like anko and matcha otherwise stay away from it.
Recommended to pay a visit if you’re in the zone. The drinks are very good also.
Pros: The cakes , The place

Vegan heaven in Gyeongju - Edit
Lovely vegan bakery that is definitely worth a visit. The owner bakes and cooks everything. There are scones, cakes, desserts, etc and also hot or cold beverages. We bought a couple of things to go and wanted to come back the next day. When we checked on Naver (good tip on Korea) it said it closed earlier and through Instagram messages we confirmed it was already closed because the place sold out for the day - which was good for this business (and I was happy for the owner), but a bit disappointing for me because I was really craving her goodies.

Good bakery! - Edit
It's mainly sweets but does have salt bread (which was so good!). We got a bunch of stuff and everything tasted good!🌟 the lady was friendly but does not understand English. It helps if you speak korean or use an translation app.

Incredible cakes - Edit
Gyeongju is in no way a vegan haven, which made this place all the more surprising. Great selection of amazing cakes and cookies, with lovely coffee and very nice staff. Delicious! One thing I’d say is the opening times don’t always match what’s listed on here. It was open when we first visited early evening on a Monday, but sadly when we tried to go back on a late wednesday morning was closed.

An absolutely gorgeous vegan bakery in Gyeongju. Besides cakes, there is also a very delicious tiramisu as well as various sweet pastries such as rice bread or choco chip cookies. Drinks include coffee, tea (very good: Schisandra tea) and a matcha latte.

Huge variety for vegan sweet treats. - Edit
Great experience at On-Ve. It was a bit of a walk as it is not in the main tourist area but its not too far either. The cafe is a more a small bakery with a tiny seating area.
Read moreI really loved the presentation and the variety of treats. I had the tiramisu cookie and a brownie, the latter was recommended by the shopkepper. Both amazing taste, I could not finish the brownie so she very kindly wrapped it up for me.

Would definitely recommend the detour!
