Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe/restaurant and bar on the main floor of the hostel over looking the pool. Offers lots of vegetarian options in the menu and some vegan. Tofu offered as a substitute in dishes such as a tofu teriyaki rice bowl and stir fired vegetables and tofu. Also offers a smoothie bowl with plant protein powder and has plant milk for coffees.

Wonderful vegan options in Siem Reap - Edit
Onederz accommodation bar & restaurant is a wonderful place to eat if you’re vegan in Cambodia. So many delicious options to have with your non vegan friends. Food it very flavourful & cheap.

Solid vegan dishes - Edit
I had the tofu skewers and we tried the tofu salad and both where pretty good. It’s nice, that you can sit at the pool and the have some other options. Sadly they don’t mark on the menu which dishes are vegan.

Decent food at relatively fair prices - Edit
Not gonna lie, if you’re looking for good vegan options, here wouldn’t be the place.
Read moreNothing on the menu is labelled (apart from the vegan wrap) even for vegetarians, let alone vegans.
I had the tofu skewers which were quite nice and a big portion, so would be sufficient as a small meal. I also ordered the fries which took quite a long time to come out and were super crispy, but something about them just wasn’t for me.
They do offer plant milks at an extra cost, which is a bit of a downer. The restaurant chargers 1000 Riel for water, but the bar next to it has a complimentary jug, so definitely use that!
I would say all-in-all, the 3* are because: 1) lack of vegan options, (2) lack of labelling, (3) serves meat and fish, and (4) extra charge for any non-dairy milk.

Great hostel with some vegan options - Edit
I stayed at Onederz for a couple of nights and it’s one of the best hostels I stayed at. Their service is amazing! They don’t have a lot of vegan options, but they do have a nice vegan smoothiebowl.

Great Hostel Great Food Great Service - Edit
There was a good amount of vegan options and staff were kind in helping make adjustments if need be. The hostel itself was one of the best I’ve stayed in with great staff.

Not very vegan friendly - Edit
The main problem with this place is vegan, and even vegetarian items aren’t labelled on the menu, and the staff don’t understand what vegan means.
Read moreI would ask “is this vegan?”
“Yes, it is vegetarian” would be the response.
We got there eventually and I was able to order something, but this isn’t table service, this is ordering at a counter with a queue of people waiting behind you, so it’s a little bit awkward to hold up everyone else while you interrogate the staff about the menu just to be sure something’s vegan.
That being said, the staff were very friendly about it, and the food when it arrived was good. And very cheap.
If this wants to be a vegan-friendly restaurant, it needs to at least mark vegan choices on the menu. At present, figuring out what is vegan and ordering is a pain.
Pros: Good value
Cons: Doesn’t label vegan items on the menu

Good options, nice environment - Edit
Stayed at Onederz for two nights and was really happy with the options. There is a breakfast chia pudding bowl, vegetarian burger, and tofu teriyaki bowl. The environment is nice too - lots of seating and music playing.

Much options to eat - Edit
Had the vegetarian burger, maybe it contains milk, i dont know. Bun was a little bit crispy, but oberall tasty. Also really good fries! Pancakes looked really good and come with fruits, but contains butter. Definetly recommend the Khmer Curry with Tofu.
