Nice Weekend Lunch - Edit
We shared Rainbow Rolls, Spinach Artichoke Pesto Pizza (I liked it way more than my partner), Jackfruit Carnitas Tacos and salad. Food was good, service friendly, prices reasonable.

One Veg World - Edit
The last time I ate at One Veg World was in May of 2016. I really liked the Philly Dream sandwich. However, I thought it was much too small. It should have been twice the size for that price. Also, very small amounts of "meat" and mushrooms. There were enough onions because I asked for extra when ordering (most dishes in most restaurants don't have enough unless I do so). I'm planning on getting the burger ( One Veg World Burger (?) I'll have to look at the menu again, because I can't remember the name) next time. It looks as if it would be very good w/ a few substitutions and additions. AND it looks as if it's much larger than the Philly Dream.

Pros: Very good service, Very good teriyaki sauce , Very good Philly Dream sandwich.
Cons: MUCH too small, especially for the price., Not enough "fillings" unless you ask for extra, No bathrooms

Nice little gem! - Edit
What a nice, little place! We went here on a saturday so we could enjoy their breakfast menu. I had the Vegan Egg Muffin with Bac-un, Scamble V-eggs & the Bagel with cream cheese. Everything was really delicious.
Pros: 100% Vegan, Friendly Staff
Cons: No restrooms

Friendly & delicious - Edit
One Veg World has a diverse enough menu that there should be something to appeal to almost everyone (including a nice selection of vegan desserts for the sweet-toothed).
Service is friendly. Parking can be a challenge in this area, so leave some extra time for that if driving.

Great food, great variety, great items for sale. Overall, a wonderful place that stands out in an area with a lot of vegan options.

The BLT with French fries and the express lunch combo Indian Curry Chick-un was to die for. The flavors blended so well! Worth braving the parking situation!

The best vegan breakfast around - Edit
I've been to a lot of vegan restaurants locally but none them are open early enough. Typically, they only serve brunch on weekends, their prices are fairly expensive, and open at 11:00.
One Veg World opens early, and they aren't too big so you don't have to sit in a large restaurant atmosphere like Real Food Daily and deal with the whole waiter service thing. One Veg World is quick and easy.
The service is good, their prices are reasonable, and they sell a lot of delicious snacks. Also they sometimes have a lunch buffet, which I thought was very good.
One Veg World is easily my number one pick for quick, affordable breakfast.
I only made an account on this website to give them a review.
Pros: Breakfast and early hours, Reasonable prices, Quick
Cons: The music on the TV could be better, No Wifi

best breakfast in LA - Edit
I had been to an event that One Veg World catered last year and discovered how delicious their food was and learned that they had opened up in Pasadena! My favorite place in the world... Anyways, I've been a regular customer ever since and if there is any event that I need catered, I go straight to them since their prices are so affordable. But the real reason I decided to write this review was because of the AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING breakfast menu they just launched... there really is nothing like it and I've been to other breakfast places all around LA... how blessed am I that in my own hometown exists the best breakfast in LA, and one of the best places to eat PERIOD in LA... Pasadena is lucky to have them.
Pros: affordable catering, best breakfast in LA, donuts!!!!!

Amazing breakfast place - Edit
I've been here twice in two weeks, it's really good and AFFORABLE. Their sandwiches are really cheap and are super elaborate. I'm not sure how they make their "eggs" but it really gives it that fast food feel, in a healthy way! Their bacon is super good too. The building is nicely decorated and they seem to always have a full staff that's ready to help you when you need it. They also have hot chocolate, Thai tea, and affordable deserts. It's an amazing café type restaurant, please support them so they can open even more of them in the future! This is the type of food that convinces people to seriously consider veganism!
My only suggestion is that it'd be nice to have a kind of hot sauce to go with the breakfast. Like a homemade tomato salsa, Tabasco or Cholula. Some people may prefer to have more seasonings, so they have salt and pepper available, but some of us really love spicy breakfasts! (:
Also, parking is fairly easy to find in the morning but I don't know how it gets in the afternoon
Pros: Cheap, Super good

JasonSwen7 07 Apr 2016 - Happened to see this and I must say, I agree about having something spicy to go with the breakfast since I like a bit of a kick. I asked them about this the other day and they offered a couple options including a hot sauce, sriracha, and a sriracha mayo. Just went with the sriracha (it was free) and combined it with some ketchup to get that bite I needed.

If You Haven't Been Here..You're Wrong - Edit
I was in Pasadena and tried many Vegan restaurants. This one by far is the best. Their food is delicious and locally sourced. Their staff is adorable and friendly (they have two attractive males with accents working here). You need to eat here. Every day of your life.
Pros: 100% Vegan, Delicious , Friendly Staff
Cons: Nothing

One DELICIOUS Veg World - Edit
Don't miss Taco Tuesdays! We found out about this wonderful storefront in downtown Pasadena. It has variety and creativity in the menu as well as many vegan favorites. We have ordered several things and always the food is fresh, fabulous and fairly priced - especially Taco Tuesdays :?) The staff is pleasant and they look to not only give vegans a great, reasonably priced place to eat with plenty of extra goodies like homemade cookies and organic soy jerky but they also care about the animals who get to live and the environment that gets to heal when we feast on their delectable goodies. Thank you for coming to Pasadena One Veg World - we love your food!

Just ok - Edit
I try every new vegan joint, so I was excited when they put in a new vegan restaurant a few blocks away from my work. Sadly, I wasn't overly impressed. The food itself was pretty good and reasonably priced. I ordered buffalo fries, some mock steak dish and a dessert. Like I said, the food was decent but I didn't like the vibe of the restaurant at all. It's one of those Supreme Master restaurants, so the tv station for the Supreme Master is always on, no alcohol is served and the overall look of the restaurant is sterile.
Pros: afforable, quite, no wait to get in
Cons: feels like a break room in an office, food is just ok, no alcohol served

good for lunch - Edit
I've been here a couple of times for a weekday lunch and the place is nearly empty. I don't know if they do a lot of take out business, but the same server has helped us both times and is helpful and efficient. I've had the chickpea chickun salad sandwich and the jackfruit carnitas tacos. I had the berry cheesecake one time and it was very tasty. Overall, it was a good lunch at a reasonable price, but it's a bit odd to be empty, so go support a vegan business in Pasadena.
Pros: good lunch, nice server

OK for lunch - Edit
Cafe style interior, quick bite, get in and out kind of vibe, not as chill as the West Covina location. Shorter menu than WC.
Pros: Friendly staff, Good food
Cons: Street parking only

Fresh and yummy vegan food - Edit
I've already been to this restaurant twice, and the food is great. We had the Hot Wings (crispy cauliflower with hot sauce and vegan ranch), Chickpea Chickun Salad Sandwich, Jackfruit Carnitas Tacos (I could easily have eaten twice as many), Philly Dream and BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich. Everything was super fresh and very tasty. As dessert, we tried the Cocoana Cake - wow - I'll be back for more of those.
A plus for very friendly staff, and the extra's you can buy (chips, marshmallows, chocolate etc).
Pros: Fresh , Yummy, Awesome staff
Cons: No restroom
