Quietly impressive - Edit
Clean, appealing, very spacious café area with sofas, tables and chairs. You can buy newspapers as well as food and drink. Vegan options are marked with the Vegan Society trademark (there are marked gluten-free options too). When I was there the Bircher muesli was agreeable but the Thai vegetable sandwiches more interesting. The date slice was tasty. Ordinary members of the public have to pay more than students but this is reasonable.
Pros: Pleasant surroundings, nice food, GF and vegan clearly marked
