Vegan sushi - Edit
They have 4 vegan sushi options, from which you can choose. Friendly chef and staff! I really liked the avocodo sushi and the pumpkin sushi. To be honest, I didn’t like the other ones.

Art of vegan sushi - Edit
The best vegan sushi I ever had. It’s not only delicious it’s also a work of art. Sitting at the counter we could watch the sushi master create his art. The presentation and flavor are delightful and the experience of eating in this friendly environment made our hearts and bellies happy. Yuzu flavored lemonade was very refreshing and a great compliment to the food. Arigatou gozaimasu.

Good ramen and sushis - Edit
The menu is available in many languages, English, Chinese, Japanese. There is basically a page of vegan options, a page of fish/seafood options and the miscellaneous page (fried chicken, dessert)
Read moreWe could have a vegan ramen each, shared a plate of avocado rolls and shared a chocolate cake, all being vegan.
The vegan avocado rolls are definitely a must try. Not only the mix of tastes is refreshing but the different textures go well.
Pros: Plenty of explicit vegan options, Vegan Avocado rolls, Staff is nice

Was worried about vegan options in Kamakura but this was a great find near the station. Not lots of options but the ones they have are super tasty

Amazing vegan ramen - Edit
The ramen was amazing. I was a little worried based on other reviews that it would be small, but it was a normal size and I was very full afterwards. 10/10 for flavour and taste.

Tasty but expensive for portions - Edit
The sushi rolls are similar to what you would get in North America and they are tasty but very expensive for the portion sizes. The ramen set is also expensive but more filling. Staff is friendly but limited english, they actually asked for my help translating for a customer. I’d recommend making a reservation unless you’re okay with a counter seat.

Very delicious - Edit
I ate vegan sushi there and was thrilled by the variety, a real taste experience! We ended up paying the equivalent of around €35 for 2 people, which in my opinion is absolutely justified for the quality of the products. The service staff spoke great English and explained what was in each piece of sushi and whether you should eat it with or without soy sauce. I would go there again any time.

Delicious Curry - Edit
Minced vegan meat curry was amazing. The portion size left me wanting for more. A little bit on the pricier side of town. Would recommend going in later in the evening when there are people inside and a friendly atmosphere.

Good but expensive for the amount! - Edit
I enjoyed a nice vegan curry here at their old location which was very satisfying.
Read moreBut since they reopened the menu changed. I had dinner here once and was surprised about the small portions for very high prices. ☹️
Same when I came for lunch. Their Instagram shows a big bowl of ramen with lots of veggies for 1500yen.
I only had a few greens in there. It was obviously not the same as the picture!!
Disappointing…
Also the staff didn’t really know what vegan is. I asked for the vegan menu options besides ramen and she said sushi…

Best Ramen in Japan. We are a vegetarian family and lived everything we ate. The food is fresh, flavourful and made with care. The owner is hands on.

Loved the set menu! - Edit
We got the set menu with appetisers, gyoza, and the ramen. The ramen is followed by rice, which you mix into the leftover broth to make risotto. It was so creative and so tasty, we loved it! They were also so helpful for my partner who has a nut allergy, and were so so friendly chatting with us after we finished our meal.

tasty food and friendly staff - Edit
This is a vegan-friendly, not totally vegan place. Their aim is to make a place where non-vegans and vegans can eat together.
Read moreI have been a few times. When I went for lunch, everything was vegan. For dinner, one time the vegan choices were- gyoza, ramen or curry. The other time (I think instead of the gyoza) they had a fried soy meat appetizer.
I have tried the gyoza, ramen, and fried soy meat (as part of a lunch plate and as an appetizer for dinner), For drinks I have tried the sansho (Japanese pepper) sour and a spiced lemon sour (alcoholic drinks) and spiced lemon and yuzu sodas (non-alcoholic)!
Everything was good! My favorite was the gyoza! They said they make the soymeat filling by hand. The fried soymeat is really tasty and best eaten as soon as it comes out of the kitchen. It is salty- I like salty foods but thought it might be nice if they offered a salad to balance things out. I think it was particularly good as part of the lunch plate, as it also had an assortment of vegetable dishes.
The staff was super friendly- we mostly spoke in Japanese but I think some of them can speak English too.
Give this place a try! It is only about 5 min from Kamakura station.

This laid back cafe is super close to Kamakura station and it’s one of the few places in Shonan which is opened both for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is completely vegan!

Really yummy creamy ramen! - Edit
Creamy ramen was the only option we tried, but it was amazing! The place doesn’t serve meat as it states in the app. Wish I could give it 5, but the app won’t allow it ( it’s listed as a non fully vegetarian place )

Gem in Kamakura - Edit
Kamakura does not have many options for vegetarian dining so I am very happy to find this place. Tried the ramen and lunch platter and they both tasted very good. Portion is perfect for lunch. Super friendly staffs as well. Highly recommend.
